Job Summary:
The Cannasseur is responsible for providing our patients with an extraordinary experience. Through meaningful interaction and knowledgeable answers, the Cannasseur fosters an environment that is empathetic, genuine, and respectful. Responsibilities:
* Provides knowledge, expertise, and guidance to patients by explaining the potential benefits of the Premium Cannabis products offered.
* Ensures patient questions or concerns are resolved quickly and completely. Communicates any requests or unresolved concerns to management immediately.
* Oversees patient intake process, ensuring that appropriate patient records and paperwork are submitted, and confidential information is maintained appropriately.
* Accountable for accurately receiving, coordinating, and fulfilling patient orders by utilizing the Point of Sale (POS) and inventory tracking systems in compliance with MJS Market, local, and state policies.
* Adapts to varied sales volume and stays active by participating in continued learning activities, creating an engaging environment, and assists in keeping the dispensary properly stocked, clean, tidy, and in operating order, while keeping a "Patient first" acuity.
* Assists in processing and monitoring floor stock and participates in daily inventory counts.
* Assists in fostering a positive work environment, treats everyone with dignity and respect while perpetuating a curiosity for everything cannabis.
* Performs opening and closing procedures.
* Ensure customers' concerns and/or questions are solved and answered promptly and efficiently and communicate customers’ requests and/or problems to management when needed.
* Communicate the effects of different types of cannabis to customers clearly and effectively.
* Set up and break down display cases daily. Assist in display maintenance and housekeeping.
* Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock and participate in inventory counts.
* Answer phone calls and forward them to the appropriate staff member.
* Frequently maintain the dispensary's cleanliness, i.e. dusting, glass cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, and sanitization.
* Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.
* The person in this position frequently communicates with patients and/or caregivers regarding medical conditions and symptoms. Must be able to exchange accurate information about product offerings.
* The person in this position must be able to observe and assess patient entry via cameras and inspect patient IDs upon entry.
* Frequently communicates with other staff via Walkie Talkie or Headset.
* Perform other related work related tasks as required.

Qualifications:
* Must possess a basic understanding of Marijuana and its effects on the body
* Ability to coordinate and problem solve in a professional manner
* Able to accommodate scheduling, including weekends and some holidays
* Must be able to communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and team members
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Must be 21 years old and pass the criminal background check
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Innate desire to achieve success and a work ethic to match
* Ability to critically think and problem solve without direction
* High level of integrity

- Proven Sales Experience, or proven track record of exceptional customer service
- Experience in the cannabis industry is desirable, but not required. Or, Prior experience working in a highly regulated industry

Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position when checking in patients or when operating the register.
- Individuals must be able to stand/ walk for 8+ hours at a time.
- Constantly moves and transports dispensary products/totes up to 50 lbs. throughout the dispensary.

Experience:
- Prior Cannabis Industry experience preferred but not required.
