We are hiring now for full time Processing Technicians. Hours are from 7am - 5:30pm Monday- Thursday. Hours may change with the season. Hours may very from day to day. Harvest Hours include overtime from October to November.
In this role your duties may include, but not limited to;
Cannabis Harvesting, Plant Maintenance, Cannabis trimming, pre-roll stuffing/rolling, quality control, product packaging, labeling, and inventory organization.
This requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions closely and maintain high quality work at a fast pace throughout the work day. This also requires that you are capable of sitting at your station for full shifts to process sufficient quantities each day. At times one variety of flower may require a different approach to another to meet these goals properly therefore the ability to apply critical thinking skills to your tasks is required. All this needs to be done while maintaining detailed records to meet the needs of management and the state regulators. Employees must follow security and compliance protocols as determined by the management and state authorities at all times.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
Has I502 experience
Legally able to work in the state of Washington
21 years of age or older
Have reliable transportation to our facility
Be punctual and reliable every work day
Maintain good personal hygiene
Work and communicate positively with others in a group setting
Follow directions and work independently to meet production goals
Able to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs safely
Sit or stand at a work station performing repetitive motion tasks for full work days (with breaks)
Ability to maintain records on the details of work done throughout the day
Uses good communication skills with coworkers and management
Attention to detail
Applies personal accountability and responsibility
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
Confirming Accuracy
Use a scale to weigh out product that needs to be trimmed or has been trimmed
Track weights and times in logs
Check labels / packaging for accuracy and organization
Follow directions regarding how product should be trimmed, handled, packaged, and / or appear when done
Perform quality control on packages and product as necessary
Maintain a clean work environment
Daily cleaning of personal work space as well as the group work space as necessary
At times the crew member may be required to do other work as necessary which may include harvest, bucking, packaging, order preparation, cleaning work areas etc.
All employees will be actively participating in daily sanitation practices

Typical work days are Monday - Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. Some extended hours and weekend work may be required from time to time to fulfill orders.

In addition to crop production, we also provide premium services such as product storage and processing. We are currently looking for a Grower Accountant that will be based out of Moxee, Washington. Candidates should have 3-5 years’ experience working in an accounting position working in an agricultural setting with pool accounting.. An associates’ or bachelors’ degree in accounting or finance and/or equivalent work experience is preferred. Key job responsibilities include:
· Entry and auditing of data pertaining to grower contracts, grower blocks, pool ID, pin receipts from various sources
· Responsible for reconciliation to external and affiliate grower documents for products packed or shipped to outside warehouses.
· Prepare and distribute operations reports.
· Prepare and distribute weekly AR reports
· Process and maintain records of grower advances, pool estimates and pool closing
· Maintain and update various inventory styles, labels and varieties
· Reconcile grower statements to the general ledger and financial documents.
· Help develop and maintain periodic management reports to identify profitability to for Senior Management
· Effectively communicate with growers, field personnel, accounting, receiving, shipping and production staff as needed.
· Maintain and provide documentation for various audits
· Ensuring proper distribution of pack outs and other routine reporting
· Ensures financial information for grower clients are prepared in a timely and accurate manner
· Provides operation accounting support to internal departments, customers and grower clients relating to produce
· Investigates and resolves accounting related problems in a timely manner
· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Position: Controller / Grower Accountant
Compensation: Base Salary: DOE; Annual Performance Incentive available
Overview: Olympic Fruit is an apple packing warehouse with aggressive growth aspirations in the coming years. We are looking to add a qualified and motivated accountant to our team to oversee a blend of controller and grower accounting functions. This is a full-time salaried position with an opportunity for future growth and promotion within the company. This position will report directly to the CFO.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
- Work closely with CFO to perform financial analysis and reporting to management and
Board of Directors
- Cost accounting related to labor and efficiency analysis
- Aid in annual preparation of documents for financial statement audit and tax return
- Work closely with growers to provide requests relating to financial information
- Opportunity to analyze and develop useful and informative reports to growers detailing financial and pack out information
- Entering and maintaining data related to grower contracts, grower blocks, and pooling information
- Running and analyzing monthly pool estimates to determine grower advance amounts
- Monthly grower payments as well as final settling with growers upon pool closure
- Tracking and invoicing custom packing arrangements
- Work with Sage Fruit marketing company to account for pooled fruit to accurately close and settle pools
- Review and reconcile grower payable sub-ledger monthly
- Other tasks as deemed necessary
Ideal Qualities:
