The Releaf Clinic Pensacola is looking for a responsible physician to add to our team and provide high quality medical care by examining patients for medical cannabis recommendations. We are seeking a physician that is qualified, compassionate and professional. You must be very knowledgeable in regards to medical marijuana, diseases and medical conditions so you can interpret symptoms and diagnose conditions. This is a position with no need to provide your own staff, procedures, or patient scheduling. This is a very demanding job that requires a great deal of patience.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine consultations and check-ups to patients to assess their health condition and determine if medical marijuana is a viable fit for them.
Give the appropriate advice for healthy habits (diet, hygiene etc.) and preventative actions to promote an overall healthy lifestyle.
Provide recommendation for medical marijuana and/or low THC and provide comprehensive instructions for administration after reviewing patients medical history.

Skills

Doctor of Medicine Degree (MD) and valid license to practice the profession
Proven experience as a physician
Respect for patient’s confidentiality
Strong understanding of examination methodologies
Excellent knowledge of infectious diseases, their symptoms and epidemiology
Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications
In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Be compassionate and approachable
Responsible and trustworthy

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $80.00 - $100.00 per hour
