Job description
Dablicator is looking for an ambitious and experienced Inside Sales Manager to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for strategic account management, collaboration across functional teams on overall strategy, and forecasting and planning for regional accounts.
Our customers include premium cannabis and CBD retailers and brands in the US, Canada and internationally. As the owner of the day-to-day management of our customers, you will become their go-to expert in all things Dablicator.
This is a great opportunity for a driven, self-starter, who is eager to start or expand a career in the cannabis industry. Prior experience in the industry is a plus, but not required. Experience in B2B customer success, account management, inside sales, or similar is paramount. The ideal candidate will have a ‘stay til the job is done’ attitude. This is a startup in a nascent industry that will offer great challenges, opportunities, and rewards. Success in this role will be measured by customer sell-through, reorders, and growth of their business.
This role is primarily based in our Lafayette, CA headquarters, a 7-minute walk from BART. Remote work as appropriate.
What You Will Be Doing
- Increase revenue, engagement and brand awareness in defined territory
- Have in-depth knowledge of our partners - Know our brand partners and how they define success
- Understand who decision makers are and how they prefer to communicate
- Leverage sales data, market trends, partner feedback - Identify problems before they are problems and identify opportunities before our competition
- Develop business plans for strategic accounts: Market landscape
- Manage all post-implementation activity for Dablicator customers through strong relationship-building, product knowledge, planning, and execution.
- Own customer engagement, retention, and growth.
- Track accounts to identify churn risk and work proactively to improve customer health and retention.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our products to speak with customers about the most relevant features/functionality for their specific business needs.
- Serve as a customer advocate and provide internal feedback on how Dablicator can better serve our customers.
- Maintain high levels of engagement across a broad group of customers, with an emphasis on customer appreciation and advocacy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- 4+ years of experience in inside sales, B2B customer success, account management, or similar
- CPG experience a plus
- Startup experience a plus
- Strong communication skills and technical aptitude
- Proactive team player who has fresh ideas when it comes to user adoption and churn mitigation
- Enjoys working closely with customers to ensure complete satisfaction
- A self-starter who takes the initiative to get things done
- Proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office; experience with Hubspot, Adobe Acrobat, Asana and Slack a major plus.
