Summary

This position is part-time, 2 to 3 days per week. Security is responsible for the protection, safeguarding, and security of patients, personnel, and property at one of company’s three dispensary facilities licensed by the State of Delaware under its Medical Marijuana Program.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Implement and enforce policies and procedures relating to facility safety and security;

• Monitor facility interior and exterior to deter and address conditions and conduct that pose a risk to safety or property or breaches company safety and security standards;

• Protect products and property from criminal diversion, theft, fire and loss;

• Investigate, document and report accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards and ensure Company’s compliance with state security regulations;

• Mitigate and de-escalate risky behaviors and communicate sensitively with patients and staff in all necessary interactions;

• Train staff regarding state safety and security regulations and procedures; and

• Perform such other duties as may be assigned by Security Manager and/or General Manager.

Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements

Preferred:

• Prior experience as sworn law enforcement professional or military service;

• Prior experience in security capacity for state-licensed marijuana business;

Required:

Candidates must:

• Hold and maintain Delaware security guard license with a firearms (“Red Card”) endorsement;

• Possess and maintain their own Delaware-licensed handgun to be carried for job duties as directed;

• Bachelor’s Degree;

• Delaware residency;

• State and company background clearances;

• Ability to promptly gain working knowledge and implement detailed security standards in highly regulated industry;

• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, regulators and invitees in furtherance of duties.

Job Classification: Non-Exempt
Location: Dover, DE and Georgetown, DE
Travel Required: Coverage may include traveling between Dover and Georgetown locations.
Physical Demands: Ability to sit, bend, and stand as necessary. Work is performed inside and outside the property with exposure to inclement weather and potential crisis situations.

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for oversight all of the company’s medical cannabis operations at one of it's two dispensaries.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Leading the team of clinical and non-clinical dispensary staff to ensure patients receive optimal care and service consistent with the company’s mission and standards;
• Implementing and overseeing all company policies and procedures and employee guidelines;
• Managing inventory of medicinal products and accessories including through the proper utilization of “seed-to-sale” tracking system and enforcement of company anti-diversion policies and procedures;
• Maintaining a clean and attractive dispensary space, including well-curated and orderly product display cases;
• Leading by example to establish a supportive environment with a focus on integrity and compliance and to deliver an individualized, patient-centered experience to each person visiting dispensary;
• Train and supervise dispensary technicians and other staff to ensure consistent and current product-knowledge, patient service and performance;
• Reporting and addressing issues and concerns to executive leadership consistent with company policies and procedures;
• Mastering working knowledge of Delaware medical marijuana regulations and ensuring dispensary compliance with applicable law;
• Ensuring proper screening, enrollment and affiliation of all patients and employees as necessary to comply with state regulations and company policies and procedures;
• Establishing and maintaining a collaborative working relationship with state regulators;
• Collaborate with other company dispensary managers and executive team to ensure consistent inventory and services across company dispensaries;
• Ensuring privacy and security of patient health and financial information consistent with company policies and procedures applicable law; and
• Perform other duties as assigned by executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements

Preferred: Prior experience in Medical, Reception, Customer Service, Counseling, Management, Retail, and/or Clerical environments.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite. POS System experience. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently. Must possess excellent organizational, communication and personnel supervision.

Travel Required: Limited and occasional travel to suppliers and other company dispensaries within Delaware as necessary to discharge duties
Supervisory Responsibility: Dispensary staff, subject to direction of executive leadership
Physical Demands: Ability to sit, bend, and stand as necessary. Lift up to 20lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
