The Brookwood Community is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Grower for our Horticulture Department to assist with crop production activities including irrigation, monitoring and caring for assigned plants, loading and unloading delivery trucks, and general duties as assigned. This individual will also support the work program and citizen employees in an appropriate manner.
This position could involve working in inclement weather conditions, including cold, extreme heat, and humidity. May include a schedule of weekdays and or weekends.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

The Brookwood Community is currently seeking an Assistant Grower for its Horticulture department. Prefer at least three (3) years experience in a production greenhouse or nursery operations with at least an Associates Degree in Horticulture. Candidate will be performing physically demanding work assignments outdoors in all types of weather conditions as well as working scheduled weekends to assist with irrigation duties. Candidate will also be expected to scout, diagnose, and apply chemicals on plants.
