Assist underwriting with policy set up and issuance in the system. Provide quality reviews of policy output and billings. Perform other operational duties as required
and provide support to SafeHerb team.
Overall Responsibilities:
Maintain quote log and allocation of policy set up with 3rd party contractor
Set up policy folders
Manage Cannabis inbox and handle all related emails
Review policies for accurate information and correct forms
Account invoicing and reconciliation
Maintain current/ accurate surplus lines filings
Reconcile SLT invoicing against filings
Process endorsements and cancellations in the system
Maintain current agency information and update in system as needed
Follow up with underwriters for any missing information needed for policy set up and issuance
Required Experience:
2-5 years of related experience in clerical office duties, preferably with an insurance agency environment. Highly proficient in excel and various forms of technology. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail.
Education Requirement:
High school diploma required. Associates degree or higher preferred.
Department Underwriting
Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience
Required Travel: Negligible
