Greenhouse Grower

Klepac Greenhouses is one of the premier Potted Plant Production Greenhouses in Texas. The Greenhouse Grower position is the backbone of our 69 years of business. The success of our business is directly related to the Grower’s ability to successfully produce the highest quality Ornamental Houseplants.

A Greenhouse Grower is responsible for the daily care and maintenance of plants including irrigation, fertilizer and chemical mixing and application, and insect/disease management. The Greenhouse Grower reports to the Production Manager and assists with supervision of teammates assigned to their greenhouse area of responsibility.

Necessary Skills:

• Desire to learn and be teachable
• Willingness and ability to supervise
• Detail oriented
• Able to perform simple mathematic calculations
• Able to fill out and maintain chemical application records
• Bilingual not necessary, but beneficial

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to wear provided Personal Protective gear when necessary
• Able to walk or be on feet up to 8 hours/day

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $34,320.00 per year
