Purpose and Scope
Manage multiple relationships and processes to facilitate the success of Beck’s Seed Corn, Soybean and Wheat Grower Programs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out purchasing of contracted bushels from Seed Corn, Soybean, and Wheat Growers.
• Identify and develop ways to help further advance our value to growers.
• Drive profitability for Beck’s and growers.

• Grower Activities
• Communicate regularly with growers through multiple channels, including site visits.
• Plan and execute meetings with growers on a regular basis.

• Monitor and reconcile surplus of discard grain with Seed Purchasing Manager
• Work closely with Soybean and Wheat Grower Director and Team.
• Analyze and resolve any QA concerns associated with grower programs.
• Facilitate Inventory management through proper monitoring and reconciliation.
• Pilot our efforts of grower bin monitoring to ensure proper moisture management, storage temps, grain conditioning, etc.
• Measure quality/seed size and relation to unconditioned supply.

• Ensure QA standards are met with growers of seed corn, wheat and soybeans.
• Any and other duties necessary to make Beck’s Hybrids a success.

Job Requirements
1. Education and training:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture related field required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record as determined by Beck’s automobile insurance policy.

2. Technical knowledge:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of grain markets
• Possess positive attitude.
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, work as a team member, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
• Basic computer and current software skills.
