Cannabis Inventory Associate Budtender Shift Lead Jobs

Budtender Shift Lead Responsibilities:

Our budtenders are responsible for assisting patients and customers in all aspects of the purchase, education of cannabis and may include training new or temp staff. The majority of time is spent performing inventory duties below as well as ensuring the dispensary is well-kept, running properly and guests are serviced properly and efficiently.

• Ensure stations are ready to go at venue opening time

• Maintain fully stocked and clean stations at all times
• Ensure opening and closing cleaning and organization checklist is completed

• Maintain proper cash-handling procedure at all times

• Ensure all customers are greeted as they arrive and wished farewell on upon their departure
• Ensure all customers/patients receive excellent customer service

• Remain familiar with industry compliance and regulatory requirements as applicable to retail operations (such as: Medical vs. Recreational, weight conversions, minimum age purchasing laws, etc.)

• Knowledgeable on cannabinoids, terpenes, and methods of cannabis consumption as it relates to sales of cannabis products

• Reception, including profile creation, updating info & answering phones

• Ensure you are on time for each and every shift
• Must be self starter and comfortable being only budtender on sales floor with 50-75 customers daily

Cannabis Inventory Associate Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and updating records.
• Organize the inventory storage
• Counting materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock.
• Work on the purchasing with purchasing manager
• Manages returns & Expired product and keeps adequate records of such items
• Manages receiving orders in Metrc when required
• Audit the POS system and makes sure the Inventory is always matching while reporting to GM and Purchasing manager
• Manages product descriptions & pictures when inputting orders in POS
• Reporting and correcting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records when required. (Metrc and in Treez POS)
• Developing & improving inventory management procedures.
• Knowledge on Metrc & Cannabis POS Software
• Compiling balance, price, and cost reports when required.
• Manages Promo product alongside purchasing manager
• Assist Purchasing manager with end of month full inventory count.
• Communication with vendors and setting up new vendor meetings for purchasing manger.
• Sending alerts on low item categories to the purchasing manager.

Inventory & Budtender Requirements:

• Minimum High School Diploma or college
• 4+ years of experience in inventory control/ retail
• Cannabis experience is a must
• Excellent math and analytical skills.
• Critical thinking
• Sufficient in Microsoft office

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on Excel, word, google drive

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
