Full Job Description
Rapidly expanding company is seeking a reliable and hard-working individual who is seeking a remote commission-based position as an Independent Licensing/Sales Agent in the Maryland/Washington DC, Virginia, Colorado, New Jersey, Illinois, California, Oregon, Montana and Utah areas.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Identify, prospect and retain licensing agreements with distributors and/or cultivators
- Maintain a high daily volume of sales activity including outbound calls, emails, and networking to produce licensing leads
- Develop and provide reporting and analysis of daily sales activity to General Management on a weekly basis
- Analyze licensing/sales performance statistics and recommend performance enhancements
- Take on project based work as needed to improve processes, foster collaboration and improve our licensing/sales resources
- Provide feedback to General Management and support the launch of new licensing agreements
- Communicate/collaborate with licensing/sales team in obtaining new licensing agreements
Knowledge, skills & abilities:
- Knowledge of cannabis laws within the states of Maryland/Washington DC, Virginia, Colorado, New Jersey, Illinois, California, Montana, Oregon or Utah
- Knowledge of research engines and ability to compile a list of potential leads
- Ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Ability to take charge of a project and build it from the bottom up
