Through community engagement strategies identify and engage groups in volunteer services.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of The Salvation Army mission, philosophy, culture, protocol, and organizational structure. Possess excellent project management skills, including the creation and utilization of budgets, timelines, event schedules, and other appropriate tools to facilitate organized, well-run events. Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, marketing, communication, liberal arts, or related field, and three years progressively responsible experience demonstrating a record of accomplishment in donor development, special events planning and managing, preferably in a non-profit setting or Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language effectively. Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and time constraints.
