About This Role:
We are looking for an independent, driven and creative associate to be a customer service agent while also managing social media, event coordinating and marketing in a complex regulatory environment.
This person will be responsible for maintaining the skills and knowledge of a customer service agent while also creating social media content, managing social media, engaging with suppliers and customers both online and in person through pop events and happenings.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a start-up environment, can work on site in Wellfleet and is eager to take on the social media content creation and community engagement reins with a clear vision and understanding of what it takes to grow our online and in person presence. Hours are flexible, and must work on site, in person.
What you'll do:
- Be a customer service agent (stay up to date on products etc.)
- Create, design, manage, write, and execute all day-to-day social media strategy to be approved by Creative Directing Team
- Generate content and campaigns across social platforms with a focus on compelling and trending/competitive content and copy that speaks to our audience
- Use best practices for social media to assist with the expansion of the brands by increasing both followers and engagement across all social platforms.
- Develop weekly analytics to gauge brands' health in the social sphere.
- Maintain balance of original content together with user-generated content and suppliers contact in order to optimize consumer engagement and brand advocacy.
- Conduct community outreach and engagement across all social media platforms
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
- Send a weekly plan to the Creative Director for approval and to ensure brand consistency.
- Continuously drive ideation and innovation within the social space based on competition and trending strategies.
- Become and remain expert in State regulations / social media platform policies pertaining to the advertising and marketing of Cannabis businesses.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Extensive social media experience in product marketing
- Expert level understanding of all social media platforms including but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in content workflow, especially planning, tracking and management
- Strong analytical skills; must be proficient in analyzing and interpreting data to measure impact
- Highly proactive, organized, resourceful, and assertive
- Strong copywriting and visual skills.
- Thrives in a start-up environment, where independence and taking initiative is encouraged.
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
- Suggest and implement new events and ideas to develop brand awareness, like local collaborations and mini events.
- Strong content creation skills: basic graphic design, photography, and video knowledge required!

- Time & Project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite
