Sales Associate / Account Executive for Zig Zag Rolling Papers
We are looking for result driven Sales Associate with experience in CPG sales and knowledge around the cannabis space. Sales Associates will be responsible for all sales job duties, from generating leads to closing sales. Sales Associate duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions.
This particular opportunity is to grow the overall sales of our products outside of the standard channels that we currently supply. Sales associate will focus on prospecting new customers and developing relationships with new dispensaries and growers.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features
- Follow and achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
- Grow the overall business outside of our standard sales channels
- “Go the extra mile” to drive sales
- Actively seek out new leads
- Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
- Process purchases
- Build productive & trusted relationships with customers
- Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities, planning different markets to attack, and understanding what is selling and trending in the market)
Skills
- Proven work experience as Sales representative or similar role
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Proficiency in English
- Basic Math skills
- Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements
- Track record of over-achieving sales quota
- Hands-on experience with POS transactions
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly and energetic personality with sales focus
- Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
- Availability to work flexible shifts
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Sales experience in CPG
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks to completion and prioritize appropriately;
- General awareness knowledge of the ISO9001 Quality Management System requirements, company Quality Policy and your contributions to the effectiveness of the QMS;
- Responsible for being knowledgeable of and acting in strict accordance with the requirements of all relevant laws, regulations, and Company policies, including, among other areas, Food and Drug Administration regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 per year plus commission
