Cannabis jobs at Visionary Venues

Visionary Venues, is gearing up for another exciting season! our events incorporate the alternative therapy of cannabis, with the artistic aspect of open-air viewing. we are seeking seasoned massage therapists who have a passion for the industry and want to be a part of its evolution.

an event hosted by, Visionary Venues, offers space for the street shaman to expand into their multi-dimensional prowess as healers. you will be expected to guide clients through an expertly crafted bodywork session, sometimes even while they are under the influence of the mild psychedelic that is cannabis.

-previous experience working with smoke medicine, such as grandfather tobacco, hookah, hashish, or cannabis, is desired.

-previous retail or sales experience is helpful

-ability to work up to 5hrs without a break is preferred.

-previous experience as a reiki healer, or other energy work modality

-LMT's who double as psychics, mediums, intuitives, are desired

every event is just as visual as it is visceral. the open-air experience allows your flow to take flight, as the visual aspect turns years of finesse into fleeting artistic expressions, unique to each client you work on. those who are comfortable performing a session in plain sight of the general public will thrive with us.

every pop-up we organize has a limited number of spots available, and we pull from our roster as needed. the schedules are flexible: work one hour or the whole event. in general, it is first come first served, with up to three additional therapists in an on-call slot, up until the start of the event, which will be compensated as well. there is also positions available for event set-up and break-down, which can be combined with an on-call slot, if so desired.

we are seeking well versed therapists who know more than one modality, or individuals who have an eagerness to expand their repertoire. each event will have a mixture of table and floor options, with a total number of pods anywhere from ~3-6. each pod-count and pod-type is unique for each event, and is first come first served on the sign up sheet.

this is a commission based position where you perform the service and you take the payment. house sets the price and builds your brand to work from. we dont make money off of you, but rather, with you, from retail components and vendor fees. this is a symbiotic relationship where each party shows up sovereign. you will be treated as such, so be prepared to step into your highest version every event. there are no weak links, only strength through unity.

please be aware that a table is not provided for you, but it is part of the uniform. e.g., if you sign up for a table(swedish/deep/lomi)-pod, it will be your responsibility to furnish the needed items, otherwise an on-call shaman will be asked to step in for you. the house will have a basic list of "uniform" items for your convenience. also, this is not a remote position. each event will be located in and around the hampton roads area of virginia, with an emphasis on norfolk portsmouth chesapeake and virginia beach.

-bud-tending

-cannabis strain knowledge

-ceremony preparation

-glass handling and eventual administration of medicine

-POS(point of sale) skills

-scripts/lingo/elevated customer service

-retail knowledge
