SUMMARY
The Metrc Coordinator will be a master at tracking and organizing physical inventory, tagging, moving, tracking, preparing outgoing and incoming packages, and associated data and Metrc tasks. Must have a strong working knowledge of the Metrc software and related rules, process steps, inventory control, transfers, manifests, and compliance parameters with respect to department tasks. Will also utilize a 3rd party compliance software, Canix. This role will begin in the greenhouse area and eventually migrate to include the processing area.
DUTIES
- Coordinates and ensures inventories, (i.e., packaging, live plants, greenhouse operations, etc.) are recorded timely and accurately; maintains physical back up and supporting documentation.
- Conduct and participate in inventory audits, immediately reports discrepancies. Reports software program issues and outages; provides inventory updates for packaging, processing, and greenhouse operations.
- Identify and assist with problem solving for inventory issues. Assist in reconciliation of inventory variances of finished goods, raw materials, ancillary items.
- Oversee and manage document destruction of failed batches in Metrc in compliance with Department of Cannabis control (DCC) regulations.
- Creates spreadsheets and other types of organizational data reporting.
- Prepares METRC manifests. Uploads Canix data and maintenance of hours of operation per task.
- Creates harvest strain profiles and coordinates with the photography team to create specific product menus for branded sales.
- Review and reconcile daily production confirmations.
- Review and audit product movement within facilities, i.e., check out & in procedures, breakage write-off process, and product recover/destruction process.
- Review day supply reports for out-of-stock risks and communicate to centralized and local planning.
- Review inbound material orders/delivery schedule to ensure raw material supply meets production schedule demands.
- Run inventory cycle count reports, support year-end physical inventory count, warehouse product traceability.
- Review system transaction process to ensure data is accurately posted.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Must be very proficient with data-based tracking systems (Metrc or similar trace and trace program preferred).
- 2+ years of inventory and/or accounting experience.
- Proficient and experience in using Microsoft Excel and computer database software.
- High level of attention to detail, ability to understand and maintain records with a superior degree of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; initiative and ability to take direction and multi-task.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age per state regulations and successfully pass a background check.
- Must be able to work in a greenhouse environment with varying degrees of temperature.

SUMMARY
The Grower is an integral part of the POSIBL team ensuring we meet high-quality cannabis product standards. The incumbent will assist in developing our plans for the expansion build-out and manage daily activities for greenhouse operations. The incumbent must exhibit positive leadership qualities.
DUTIES
- Grow and maintain a high-volume producing cannabis crop throughout the year. Monitor growing conditions including humidity, temperature, VPD, CO2, ensuring quality standards. Monitor daily irrigation levels to determine nutrient and watering requirements.
- Manage and lead staff in growth, care, and maintenance of the facility’s floriculture. Coordinates individual efficiency production activities. Develop plans for labor maximization and facility improvements.
- Establish and execute plant growth strategies for yield maximization while minimizing cost.
- Create, modify, and institutionalize the Company’s Standards of Operation (SOP) for cultivation and nursery processes. Oversee improvement methods and procedures related to greenhouse, maintenance and IPM.
- Manage and oversee inventory, grow and nutrient coordination of mother plants and clone departments.
- Establish a labor plan and communicate requirements to the Human Resources Department. Collaborate on the organizational changes needed throughout the year.
- Provide feedback in the existing production facility organizational structure and assist in the design of the new processing facility buildout. Plan and conduct facility improvements as needed.
- Participate in preparing the annual budget, 4-month forecasts and weekly production planning.
- Assist and coordinate staff scheduling, assignments, oversee training techniques and protocols with the labor lead.
- Develop, institute, and manage quality control measures throughout the process. Investigate quality complaints and issues.
- Ensures safety protocols are followed and areas are properly sanitized daily by the team.
- Structures a preventive and corrective maintenance program and ensuring appropriate execution with both in-house and external suppliers on all greenhouse equipment.
- Follow safety and injury prevention programs, participate in weekly management meetings, and provide metrics and reports as requested.
- Other projects and duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
This position is physically demanding and requires the applicant to be able to lift fifty pounds on a regular basis, as well as function in physical positions such as stooping, bending, turning, twisting, walking, reaching, squatting, climbing stairs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must have a minimum of 3 – 5 years cannabis experience in prior agricultural or cannabis products in a greenhouse setting.
- At least 3 – 5 years prior supervisor or management experience is required. Must be a positive and respectful mentor, encouraging others to perform at their best.
- Must be able to work in a greenhouse environment with varying degrees of temperature, cold, wet and humidity. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required to meet company production needs.
- Bilingual at a proficient level in English and Spanish is highly desired.
- Must be able to create and follow standards of operations (SOPs). Proficient in all processing floor activities ensuring high quality product.
- Prior cannabis industry experience is a plus with Good Manufacturing Processes (GMPs) experience preferred.
- Proficient in using computers including knowledge of Microsoft and Google Suite of products.
- Elevated level of diligence, ability to understand and maintain records with a superior degree of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; initiative and ability to take direction and multi-task.
- Must be highly organized and with excellent time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, open to constructive feedback. Shows initiative and ability to take direction and prioritize tasks.
- Exhibits respectful leadership qualities, confidence, and ability to train others with a positive behavior and reinforcement.
