Delivery Driver
Employee Class: Class 2 (Non-Exempt)
Reports to: Store Manager
Job Summary:
The North Deliver Driver is primarily responsible for delivering our “products” to patients in the designated delivery area. Drivers are expected to secure all product and practice common sense when delivering product.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver medical marijuana product to our patients.
- Ensure attention to detail in checking identification upon delivery.
- Maintain consistent communication with the store, especially if running late, lost, etc.
- Assist other employees when needed and not delivering product.
- Ensure the practice of good safety skills, including abiding by all rules and regulations set forth by North and the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS).
- Assist management with inventory counts as necessary.
- Prep and package products for delivery.
- Follow all policies and procedures set by North and Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.
- Contribute to the team and maintain a positive attitude.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development as needed.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a retail environment around merchandise displays, and substances that are highly controlled and secured. This remains true when required to be on the road, delivering highly controlled and secured product.

Additional Eligibility Requirements:
- Customer-Service: Medical Marijuana delivery drivers need to be friendly, speak clearly and understand the needs of their customers.
- Hand-eye Coordination: Drivers will operate a secure van and might need to look for addresses at the same time.
- Patience: Heavy traffic, wrong addresses, impatient customers, and the occasional mean dog are part of the job. Patience is necessary.
- Good Vision: Drivers need to be able to see addresses on buildings, and good vision is necessary if they are badly lit or small.
- Must have a valid driver license and excellent driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug tests.
Education and Experience:
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Valid Identification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must consent to a criminal background check performed by the Company.
- Successfully complete a criminal background check.
- Previous retail, sales, and/or customer service experience; cannabis sales experience preferred.
