Hotline is a Black and Queer-owned boutique creative communications agency located in Los Angeles.

Position Description:

As a Senior Content Strategist you will determine the approach to identifying, prioritizing, planning and managing content aligned to our clients’ marketing objectives. This is a multi-faceted role that requires both a strategic eye to ensure content supports objectives as well as attention to detail to make certain that content planning is timely, accurate and impeccable. This role will develop and lead content strategy for accounts representing cannabis, spirits and lifestyle brands.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end to end creation of social strategy and content planning to drive engagement and growth for client Instagram and TikTok accounts
• Develop content briefs that detail priorities, business objectives, content requirements and executional considerations
• Support the development of monthly content calendars that include visual assets and caption copy
• Recap and articulate social account analytics and insights in monthly reports
• Work closely with community managers to effectively execute strategies and content planning
• Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
• Manage schedules and deadlines

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience as a Senior Content Strategist
• Writing and case study samples that display examples of prior work
• An ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Impeccable organizational skills
• Experience developing creative, fun, and untraditional content
• Excellent presentation, communication and writing skills
• Ability to self-start, wrangle ambiguity and manage time effectively
• Analytical skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
• Experience with Later or similar content publishing platforms
• Design proficiency using Adobe Suite, Figma, Canva, PowerPoint and Google Sheets
• Dedication to collaboration, communicating with good purpose, acting with integrity, and taking ownership for and learning from successes and failures
• Commitment to uplifting BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities
• Professional references required
