This includes:
- Carefully reading your assigned section for each MMTC application before attempting to assign scores to any one application
- Using the OMMU Scoring Rubrics and Evaluator Score Ranges to undertake an independent, comparative, qualitative review of each application for licensure
- Submitting application scores within 75 days of receiving an application
- Documenting application strengths and weaknesses; notetaking
- Informing the Director of OMMU of any conflicts of interest related to an application prior to reviewing

These roles will require varying technical and professional experience and will primarily be responsible for educating and training of members of minority communities and Floridians on the medical use of marijuana and the impact of unlawful use of marijuana in accordance with Section 381.986, Florida Statute (F.S.). Training will be provided.
- Instruct sessions across the state (in-person or virtually to educate Florida’s minorities about marijuana for medical use and the impact of unlawful use of marijuana
- Prepares weekly reports on training sessions, including a summary of metrics (i.e., pre/post-test results) and activities performed during the training sessions
- Collaborate with our partners across the state of Florida to execute and implement education events and outreach activities
- Recruit partners for ongoing course instruction opportunities
- Follow up with course participants to collect information on their acquisition of a medical marijuana card
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested, including reviewing and responding to correspondence related to this engagement
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to critically think through a variety of situations, and possess the ability to ensure open communication and collaboration with staff and management. Key skills and knowledge include:
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, including experience mentoring
(formally or informally), coaching or on-the-job training, classroom instruction or training, e- learning, workshops, simulations, etc.
- Experience writing and supporting training curricula
- At least 1 year of experience in learning and development, preferably with a role in professional development, mentoring/coaching, or training
- Candidates should be organized and possess the ability to multi-task, communicate professionally, coordinate schedules/manage time, and follow up on assigned projects
