WHAT IS THE JOB?

The General Manager will ensure customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals and manage staff effectively. This role will also oversee the retail location, its staff and activities to achieve a profitable store location. The role will be responsible for embodying and maintaining Green Mammoth core values with customers and staff and ensure ongoing compliance with local and state regulations.

• Oversees staff and fulfills staffing needs for regular hours, or high-traffic times.
• Maintains and motivates a positive sales team through communication, incentives, and evaluations.
• Confirms daily sales reports and cash receipts; ensures monies are deposited regularly, and reports are submitted as prescribed by company policies.
• Addresses customer needs and resolves issues, ensuring positive and long-term customer relationships.
• Plans, organizes, and coordinates orders.
• Develops, oversees, and maximizes retail budget and product inventory, purchasing, and sales.
• Ensures inventory data is correct by performing spot inventory counts and checks.
• Uses company software to research, analyze, and track purchases.
• Ensures that the store always looks clean and inviting.
• Places and rotates merchandise to attract positive attention from customers.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Hires and trains retail staff.
• Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of the employees within the retail location.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Assists with discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

WHAT SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Works well under pressure and deadlines; ability to multitask.
• Strong leadership and management skills with ability to motivate staff.
• Excellent customer service abilities.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of two years of experience in retail management.
• Extensive and proven management experience preferred.
• Responsible Cannabis Retail Training (Sell SMaRT) (Required within 2 Months after hire )
• California Security Gard Card/PPSO Card (Preferred but not required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
