Indoor Hydro Farm Seeking grower/s Students welcome.

An indoor hydroponics farm and nursery is seeking a technician to grow leafy greens and other vegetables. The candidate should have interest in plants and a basic knowledge of their culture requirements, anatomy and physiology. We are seeking a fast-learner with strong attention to detail. Primary responsibilities consist of propagation, nutrient solution preparation, cleaning, record-keeping, Ability to follow detailed written protocols is a must. Experience with indoor growing, hydroponics, and propagation from seed is a plus. Other responsibilities include helping the production team in the hydroponics farm. Workers should be able to lift 40 lbs. High attention to detail and handiwork is common for this position, so dexterity and focus for significant periods of time is essential.
The facility areas are very loud due to fans and filtration systems, temperatures can fluctuate between cold and hot. Must work with and around fertilizers. Work may require prolonged sitting, standing, bending, stooping and stretching. Requires close vision with the ability to see color.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
