The Marketing & Alliance Success Manager (M-ASM) is essential in supporting the Director of Sales & Customer Success and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) on the marketing platform, casting the light on ETS and helping to foster positive and progressive PR, as well as nurturing and cultivating the most strategic business relationships, strengthening alliances. This position is responsible for ongoing and consistent tasks as well as periodic projects.
This position performs marketing administrative tasks, as well as organizational and planning activities, working on targeted projects and initiatives and representing the company in marketing outreach initiatives and at events. The M-ASM manages a fluid presence and representation of the company, including processing Alliance and Customer feedback as applicable and maintaining and executing marketing outreach and promotional initiatives. The M-ASM is ETS’s main point of contact for marketing initiatives as well as managing branded materials for company and marketing use.
The Marketing & Alliance Success Manager focusses on building, maintaining and managing long-term relationships with current and prospective business Alliance Relationships, to include partners, vendors and our Channel Eco-System, and is responsible for sustaining and helping build new agreements and establishing and keeping a good working rapport with all Alliance Relationships. The M-ASM is the primary point of contact for partners and resellers for marketing new products and helping establish new agreements, and works closely with other ETS departments as needed for these and other Alliance Relationships.
The right candidate for this position is someone who is looking for a long term placement in this unique role. Candidates for this position understand that this is not a stepping stone, but rather an opportunity to do very well in a specialized role within the ExtractionTek Sales Team, and within the Extraction, Cannabis/Hemp and Mycology spaces.

Note: This is NOT a remote position, but offers some WFH flexibility after 90 days.
Main Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels. Perform marketing related administrative tasks, working on targeted projects and initiatives.
- Build, maintain and manage long-term relationships in current and prospective Alliance Relationships.
- Manage a fluid presence and representation of the company, including processing Alliance and Customer feedback as applicable and maintaining and executing marketing outreach and promotional initiatives.
- Manage branded materials for company and marketing use.
- Primary point of contact for Alliance Relationships for marketing new products and helping establish new agreements.
- Responsible for building and growing a solid knowledge of all company products, services and innovative advancements, as well as researching industry and market changes to be able to target mutually beneficial products and agreements with Alliance Relationships, as well as applying marketing initiatives effectively.
- Accountable for working with the Director of Sales & Customer Success and CMO to develop and continuously evolve ETS Alliance Management efforts, internal marketing & sales processes and procedures and Alliance Relationship facing initiatives.
Requirements
- Creative thinking and solution finding approach
- 3-5 Years of marketing (administration) experience
- Some account management experience
- Demonstrated track record of meeting deadlines
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Acrobat)
- Ability to pass an E-Verify background check and authorized to work in the US
- Social Media savvy
Stand Out from the Rest
- Experience with NetSuite, Pipedrive
- Marketing, Customer Success Manager/Account Management experience within the Cannabis Industry
- Technical knowledge of hydrocarbon extraction, post-processing equipment & cannabis related facility requirements
- Experience as an Executive Assistant or other highly dynamic role
Travel
Minor to moderate travel may be required for alliance visits and industry trade shows in all legal cannabis & mycology markets, possibly including Canada, Central America and Europe. A US Passport is highly recommended at time of employment. Candidates must be able to travel between the US and Canada, as well as between the US and Central America without restriction.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a dedicated, full-time position. The standard hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 40 hours per week. There will be times the M-ASM may be asked to work alternative hours, depending on an event or major difference in time zone, or to be able to participate in an alliance visit or travel for a trade show.
