We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer to better develop and integrate a pre made information management system for a cannabis laboratory. Software Engineer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, defining system functionality and writing code in various languages, like Java, Ruby on Rails or .NET programming languages (e.g. C++ or JScript.NET.). Our ideal candidates are familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Execute software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
- Write well-designed, testable code
- Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
- Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
- Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
- Document and maintain software functionality
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
- Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
- Comply with project plans and industry standards
Skills
- Work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer Intern
- Experience designing interactive applications
- Ability to develop software in Java, Ruby on Rails, C++ or other programming languages
- Knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies.
- Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)
- Experience with test-driven development
- Proficiency in software engineering tools
- Ability to document requirements and specifications
- BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field. (Or a current student in any applicable field).

In a fast environment, we are seeking an analytical or environmental chemist who is willing to learn the ropes, able to multi-task, self-starter, and intuitively good chemist.
Primary test areas are wet chemistry, gravimetry, atomic absorption spectrophotometry, and gas chromatography.
No job is small, be able to be fast and accurate at the same time. Solid chemistry knowledge to understand the basis of each test, master the what and why. The chemist must be able to proceed with written instructions - only degreed chemists to apply.
You will be provided with training, however you should be able to work from work operating procedures as well, as well as training material. Requirements include passing certification testing, 15 of them, in the first 3 months.
We provide medical benefits, vacation and 401k. Our working hours are between 8 Am to 5 PM on weekdays, with minor overtime or weekend work.
We are a friendly, hard-working, knowledgeable team; we prefer chemists with long term vision of working with us.
Well-qualified candidates might have the ability to work with pharmaceutical, or cannabis products in due time.
