Alternatives Dispensary is Sonoma County's premier Recreational and Medicinal cannabis dispensary. We are offering two positions for people with strong organizational skills to join our inventory team and who thrives in a retail environment that changes people's lives! This is an excellent opportunity to work in the dynamic cannabis space, working closely with cannabis products, and learning about types and uses of the plant in a supportive and interesting retail environment.

Hours are somewhat flexible, at least 30-35 hrs/week. If you are excited to be part of a winning team, Alternatives is a perfect place to get ahead.

ABOUT YOU:

Detail oriented with great organizing skills,

Thrive in a fast-paced retail environment,

Basic understanding of computer functions and able to use a POS system,

Demonstrated retail experience,

Reliable transportation, 21+ yrs. old,

Excellent communication skills,

Knowledge of Cannabis (CBD/THC effects, effects of sativa and indica, some knowledge of different applications and uses, etc.)

Professional, honest, and respectful attitude.

Excellent recommendations.

Responsibilities for Inventory Assistant

• Tracking incoming and outgoing products
• Stocking shelves
• Conducting periodic inventory counts
• Updating database with incoming and outgoing products
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Maintain a safety while using equipment and tools
• Notify Inventory Manager with shortages and inconsistencies

Responsibilities for Bud Tender

In addition to the above, you are satisfied helping people heal, become more balanced, achieve their personal goals from using cannabis, and accepting customers’ gratitude for your help.

Staying abreast of changes in the field (updated products, new inventions, improved products, and new medicinal discoveries.)

Knowing your team relies upon you, you are on time and responsible.

Good communication skills
