We are looking for a Community Benefits Manager to lead the development and execution of our Community Outreach platform focused in the Redwood City area. The Community Benefits Manager oversees the planning and implementation of our outreach strategies benefiting the local community. They are primarily responsible for connecting people in the broader Contra Costa County by creating sponsorships and cultivating relationships with business, individuals, and other relevant organizations with a specific focus on improving the lives of troubled youth through donations and volunteer work.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with other agencies and organizations in community to meet community needs.
- Evaluate the work of volunteers to ensure that programs are of appropriate quality and that resources are used effectively.
- Participate in the determination of organizational policies regarding such issues as participant eligibility, program requirements, and program benefits.
- Research and analyze member or community needs to determine program directions and goals
- Provide direct service and support to individuals or clients, such as handling
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Non-Profit leadership experience in Contra Costa County. Experience in Concord, Ca. specifically preferred.
- Self-motivated; comfortable working independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively one on one and in group settings.
- Proven ability to form and implement lasting partnerships in the community
- Events planning or related experience.
- Strong communication, especially public speaking, and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated experience with planning and managing
- 3-5 years of experience or combination of education and experience.
