About the Job:
We are looking for a results-driven and qualified sales representative to develop, maintain and service long-term relationships with clients and vendors. Qualified applicants will have demonstrated the ability to prospect, build, and maintain relationships with adult-use retailers throughout the state of Michigan.
You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every client as well as, identify new prospects and areas of growth potential. Our Sales Reps work closely with our operations team to communicate inventory needs.
Knowledge of the cannabis industry is a must as the position requires field research and an understanding of industry standards.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
- Ensure customer retention through delivery of exceptional service and proactive support
- Primarily commission based on gross sales.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the cannabis industry.
- Possess good listening and communication skills. Applies skill sets professionally.
- Ability to understand common trade math practices (i.e., grams, fractions, pounds).
- Develop positive relationships with clients, follows leads, and generates leads.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule; ability to work some weekends, if necessary.
- Update and track your daily activities in our CRM
- Be able to cold call, and drop-ins with confidence
- Educate dispensaries and budtenders on our amazing cannabis products
- Attending social events to expand your network in the industry
- Provide reports and updates weekly to the Sales Manager
- Take over existing accounts with the intention to increase their sales
- Work with the Sales Manager and your Brand Ambassadors to plan and execute promotional deals at dispensaries
Skills / Abilities:
- Must demonstrate accountable, proactive behavior with strong attention to detail.
- Strong ability to effectively communicate with various audiences
- Develops positive relationships with clients, follows leads, and generates leads.
- Passionate to learn and apply his/her industry education with all retail clients.
- Contributes to the team positively
Additional Requirements:
- At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US
- Must be able to clear a background check with no disqualifying infractions
- Physical Requirements - Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, handle, stoop,
- kneel, and crouch; must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
