Kushman's Cannabis Budtender / Cashier (21+ Only!)

Qualifications:

• Must have excellent attendance and professionalism. Must be on-time to work and have the flexibility to work assigned shifts

• Flexible scheduling: must have the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on the store's needs.

• High degree of interest in Cannabis

• Desire to learn about the ever evolving product landscape in order to provide quality information and educate our customers

• Ability to tailor each guest interaction to the customer's individual needs.

• Strong communication skills

• 1+ years of face to face customer service experience required in: retail sales, hospitality, cannabis industry, or other customer facing industry

• Detail oriented and able to handle a high-volume, fast paced environment

• Enthusiastic & outgoing team player with a strong spirit of cooperation, and ability to problem solve

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check (excluding marijuana related charges)

• Access to communication systems via (Slack, Text Messaging, or Phone Calls)

• Reliable transportation

All employees are required to maintain working knowledge of the relevant state and federal laws regarding Cannabis sales in Washington State. Including, but not limited to:

• Purchase limitations

• Washington ID verification standards, and all acceptable forms of ID

Job Duties:

• Operating Dutchie POS

• Maintain Inventory Control Systems

• Exceptional Cash Handling Ability in High Volume Retail

• Customer Education

• Maintaining Strict Merchandising Standards

• Good Vibes, Great Attitude, and Ability to Separate Work & Personal Endeavors

*Bonus Points*

• Previous Industry Experience in Washington Recreational (or) Medical Cannabis, or experience in any other state with a legal Cannabis Marketplace

• Previous knowledge of Washington State Cannabis rules & regulations

• Expansive pre-existing Cannabis knowledgebase

• Technical proficiency in Google Office Suite

• Other computer or technical background

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform tasks that involve prolonged standing, walking, and kneeling for up to 8 hours.

• Ability to lift 25+ lbs.

• Ability to read IDs, and small print with 100% accuracy.

There is the potential for advancement of roles and responsibilities for the right candidates with the appropriate attitude, qualifications, and tenure with the business. This will be considered on a case by case basis

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $16.25 per hour
