The Store Supervisor is expected to behave in a professional manner, ensure proper procedures, and behaviors are being followed in the absence of the General Manager. This supporting role will allow for a communicative, flourishing store team and ensure the success of Consume Cannabis Co.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Management and Team Support:
- Responsible for managing dispensary staff, schedules, inventory, and patient/customerrelations.
- Serves as a resource for all dispensary staff needs.
- Resolves any conflict immediately.
- Responsible for delegating tasks to team members to maintain a compliant and clean facility.
- Coordinates with the General Manager to ensure accurate information is communicated todispensary staff.
Customer Service:
- Provides superior customer service for vendors, patient/customers and caregivers.
- Responds to all patient/customer complaints, requests, concerns, suggestions.
- Assists with providing a welcoming environment for customers as business needs dictate.
Reports, Documentation and Profitability:
- Assist with maintaining accurate records of all dispensary activities including daily cashreconciliations, patient/customer records, sales, deliveries and returns in accordance with theState and the standards set by Company.
- Ensures accuracy in daily, weekly, and monthly recaps and reporting from sales data and patientcounts.
- Provide regular inventory, sales and profitability reports to the General Manager as requested.

Store supervisors report directly to the store managers concerning issues surrounding policy, procedures and daily operation. The supervisor serves as an intermediary between the floor staff and the store managers who keeps operations running efficiently and safely. Duties and Responsibilities
Assist and train staff to efficiently handle sales and provide superior customer service
Effectively delegate the responsibilities and actions of the floor staff
Relay changes in policies and procedures and introduce sales and specials to staff
Must have extensive knowledge of all the products in the store and know their safe applications
Work directly with patrons of the business to ensure quality of service and dissolve issues that may arise concerning product, sales transactions or otherwise
Oversee actions and procedures to be sure that business is always being conducted within the confines of compliance, including the monitoring of ID verification for entry
Process and monitor inventory and make sure products are properly received and labeled

The Opportunity:
We are looking for experienced and knowledgeable Store Supervisors who can efficiently run the daily operations of our business and provide excellent service to our valued customers. This position is also in charge of developing City Cannabis’ relationships and standing in the neighborhood.
Experience:
Mandatory: Criminal Record Check, OSHA certified
1+ Years in Regulated Retail Cannabis Industry
2 Years or more Customer Service Supervisor Role
5+ years in Customer Service setting
Specific Skills:
Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales or cashier duties or performing services for
customers;
Independently assign employees to duties as required in the day-to-day operations;
Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, and
responding to inquiries and complaints;
Monitor sales activities to ensure
that customers always receive satisfactory service and quality goods;
Enforce safety, health, OSHA and security rules;
Perform work activities of subordinates, such as cleaning and organizing shelves and ensuring that displays meet the visual standards of the store;
Process payments and deal with returns of merchandise as per company and METRC rules & policies;
Prepare End-of-Day reports for management, including daily sales volumes, product information, personnel matters such as staff endorsements,
customer feedback and complaints;
opening and closing operations;
Facilitate customer returns both at store level as well as with wholesaler;
Communicate with Licensed Vendor Representatives at store level to identify future training opportunities;
Build customer retention by coaching new hires to remember guests’ names;
Responsible for METRC Registry accuracy and security of product displays;
Leading Pre-Shift huddles to increase product/industry knowledge (groups of 12+ people);
Able to lead an inventory count as necessary
Coach not only consultants but also supervisors on how to develop relationships with clientele as well as surrounding businesses to help erase cannabis stigma.
Additional Skills:
Train new sales staff, monitor their performance and report to management;
Vast knowledge of Cannabis history, anatomy biochemical composition, extractions, methods of consumption and appropriate portion control/dosage;
Ability to memorize an extensive number of different cannabis flower, concentrate, edible and topical products from various brands;
Ability to memorize a constantly changing product lineup;
Confident understanding of state, METRC, OSHA cannabis regulations, risks and harms of cannabis;
Able to clearly communicate to clients basics of responsible use;
Must be able to supervise 12+ staff members;
Must be able to work multiple salesfloor positions as business dictates and direct reports to do the same in periods of high volume.

Process and monitor inventory and make sure products are properly received and labeled

The full time store supervisor will be a key holder, will report directly to the General Manager, and is responsible for providing above and beyond guest service while educating and guiding guests through the process of choosing what cannabis strains and products would work best for their needs. Budtender Shift Supervisors must be highly motivated individuals with excellent customer service experience and retail sales skills. Budtender Shift Supervisors assist the management team in the oversight of the daily operations of the sales floor. Budtender Shift Supervisors are responsible for providing our customers with product information, sales, cash handling, inventory, and compliance with state regulations, and assisting budtenders as needed.

- Perform/oversee the functions of a Budtender/Front Register Cashier to include initiating and following up with customers to sell or resolve problems, answer questions and educate on products offered
