IN A NUTSHELL…
As part of a small strategic IT team focused on major, transformational growth initiatives, the Senior Manager of IT New Ventures will be leading the planning and execution of application and data migration and integration. This critical role will be responsible for assessing new business opportunities and determining the system integration needs and developing aligned plans with the business which will deliver the expected business benefits and synergies. They will then oversee the execution of these plans, migrating data and applications into our enterprise data architecture and existing tech stack. This role will require working and managing internal and external resources to ensure program success.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Working with the business and IT teams to develop and execute an Applications and reporting/analytics approach for any newly acquired operations or licenses
- Defining target IT Application landscape focused on Finance, HR, Supply Chain and Seed to Sale and reporting tools
- Assessing any relevant regulations and their implications to IT systems and capabilities
- Analyzing the method of transforming existing data into a format for the new environment and the loading of this data into other database structures
- Interfacing with Director of Data Analytics to develop migration strategy to populate existing organizational data schema and models
- Analyzing legacy data/data models, and advising on the best way to clean-up, manipulate and prepare their data for migration into existing enterprise data model
- Working with business and service delivery leads to develop application diligence and migration roadmaps
- Producing plans and costs for acquisition migration projects, adhering to these deadlines, generating realistic expectations, and communicating clearly with IT leadership
- Creating technical documentation for scripts and programs
- Reviewing existing migration tools and providing recommendations for improving performance of the migration process
- Working on multiple application migration projects simultaneously
- Working with internal and contract resources to drive project success
- Supporting other key business and IT Initiatives as required
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU'LL BRING
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer science, Information Systems, or Business Administration or related field
- 7+ years' experience executing data and application migration projects
- Prior, demonstrated experience in at least 3 of the following areas:
- Finance Transactional Systems and processes
- HR Systems and processes
- Supply Chain Planning and execution
- Cannabis Industry Seed to Sale systems
- Business Intelligence/data visualization tools
- Data Warehousing
- Mergers and acquisitions experience a major plus
- Experience working with ETL tools
- Experience performing cloud, application, and storage migration
- PMP certification is a plus
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Potential of up to 25% travel
- Age 21 or over (Required)
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Valid Government-Issued Photo ID (Required)
