Security Guards will be responsible for performing their security duties at cannabis farm sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Protect the property both on foot and by vehicle, being visible and observant at all times
- Maintain the security cellular phone
- Ensure critical areas of the property are monitored
- Maintain complete knowledge of all security operations, policies and procedures
- Perform pat down searches per company protocol
- Conduct perimeter patrol, site access control and site surveillance
- Document security activity using appropriate security forms, always ensuring the work product is concise, accurate, and thorough
- Comply with all Security policies and procedures that pertain to the property
- Establish and maintain working relationships and provide assistance as requested to managers, supervisors and employees on an ongoing basis to enhance the security and safety of all employees, contractors, etc.
- Perform special projects or other duties as assigned
- Delivery confirmation
- Provide First Aid, if/when necessary
- Assist with site evacuation, if/when necessary
- Conduct sobriety evaluation, if/when necessary
- Perform all duties according to OSHA established health and safety standards
- Assist the Security Administrator in training new and existing security personnel
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Knowledge, & Skills)
- One (1) to two (2) years of security guard experience
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Valid Colorado driver’s license

Security Guards will be responsible for performing their security duties at cannabis farm sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Protect the property both on foot and by vehicle, being visible and observant at all times
- Maintain the security cellular phone
- Ensure critical areas of the property are monitored
- Maintain complete knowledge of all security operations, policies and procedures
- Perform pat down searches per company protocol
- Conduct perimeter patrol, site access control and site surveillance
- Document security activity using appropriate security forms, always ensuring the work product is concise, accurate, and thorough
- Comply with all Security policies and procedures that pertain to the property
- Establish and maintain working relationships and provide assistance as requested to managers, supervisors and employees on an ongoing basis to enhance the security and safety of all employees, contractors, etc.
- Perform special projects or other duties as assigned
- Delivery confirmation
- Provide First Aid, if/when necessary
- Assist with site evacuation, if/when necessary
- Conduct sobriety evaluation, if/when necessary
- Perform all duties according to OSHA established health and safety standards
- Assist the Security Administrator in training new and existing security personnel
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Knowledge, & Skills)
- One (1) to two (2) years of security guard experience
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Valid Colorado driver’s license

- Must be over 21 years old
- Able to work in an outdoor setting subject to extreme cold, heat, rain, snow
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer, mathematical, and reasoning skills
- High attention to detail
- A CPR and First Aid Certification will be required, and education will be provided.
- Military or DOC experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to effectively respond to issues both verbally and in writing.
- Requires a high level of observation skills
- Ability to identify and analyze problems with limited information
- Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the security services field
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected
- Demonstrate the ability to work well in a timely manner with a proactive approach to unusual occurrences
- Must be able to work independently and take initiative.
- Requires good organizational skills, attention to detail and openness to new ideas and procedures

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to walk considerable distances at the facility during the course of the work shift to perform duties out of doors in all weather conditions; outdoor terrain is uneven, rocky, clay-based soil, and dusty
- Two schedule rotations: Wednesday 12:00PM-6:15P, Thursday 5:45AM-6:15PM, Friday 5:45AM-6:15PM, and Saturday 5:45AM-6:15PM or Sunday 5:45AM-6:15PM, Monday 5:45AM-6:15PM, Tuesday 5:45AM-6:15PM, Wednesday 5:45AM-12:00PM. Must be flexible to work overtime when required
- Must be able to work 12+ hours a day, 40+ hours a week
- Must be able to consistently lift 50+ pounds to move materials with the use of proper equipment
- Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including: standing, walking, climbing, squatting, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, twisting
- Use of hands and fingers to complete reports, stand for prolonged periods of time in an upright position
- Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more with or without corrective lenses; vision to read printed materials; hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone and/or radio
- Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions
- Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms
- Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection when required
- While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee must possess strength, stamina, and mobility by walking considerable distances at the facility during the course of the work shift to perform duties
- Must comply with company dress code and uniform requirements
- Safely/responsibly and compliantly use company provided equipment and tool
