Gogebic, Ontonagon, Houghton, Keweenaw, Baraga, Iron, Dickinson, Marquette, Menominee, Alger, Delta, Schoolcraft, Luce, Mackinac, Chippewa, Emmet, Cheboygan, Presque Isle, Charlevoix, Antrim, Otsego, Montmorency, Alpena, Leelanau, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Crawford, Oscoda, Alcona, Manistee, Wexford, Missaukee, Roscommon.
The Regulation Agent may occasionally be asked to assist in other counties based on operational needs. Candidates will be selected for these openings in part based on their current home location.

Conducts interviews of relevant witnesses, obtains evidence to support or disapprove an allegation in accordance with the rules of evidence and the Administrative Procedures Act. Conducts field inspections, if needed, relating to potential violations of the MMFLA, MRTMA, MTA, or administrative rules. May be required to testify in administrative hearings or other legal proceedings.
