Job Description
The Processing Specialist is responsible for processing, organizing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products in preparation for distribution. In this role, maintaining accuracy in weighing, filling product, labeling, and inventory is paramount. The Processing Specialist is also responsible for maintaining a perpetually clean workspace. The ideal candidate has a great attitude, a strong work ethic, and can work well alone or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Mixing product formulations in accordance with our specifications and SOPs
- Filling, capping, and cleaning vape cartridges
- Package concentrates, MIPs, and plant material into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations
- Manage time efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product
- Sanitation & cleanup of all processing areas and equipment throughout the day
- Monitor, measure, and record precise product weight and total units produced
- Measure and document any potential product waste accurately
- Maintain strict quality standards while hitting daily production goals
- Maintaining a safe work area and adhering to all safety protocols.
- Ability to adhere to all production SOP’s for a variety of different products

Qualifications

This position is responsible for the pre-processing and curing of cannabis material within the Post-Harvest Processing department primarily at the Rolling Farms facility.
RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES:
- Responsible for dry room takedown, deboning plants, and curing procedures of post-harvest cannabis material. * Operate equipment to sort, debone, trim, or otherwise process cannabis material. * Organize and transfer material between processing stages. * Coordinate with PHP leadership for curing and processing timelines. * Sanitize all curing and pre-processing equipment. * Communicate with PHP leadership regarding quality, inventory, and general concerns. * Assist in stocking, organizing, and maintaining proper level of supplies used. * Accurate reporting of daily production. * Participate in deep cleaning of the PHP room and equipment. * Operate software utilized by SPP to print labels and maintain a compliant work station. * Follow all safety protocols to ensure a healthy work environment. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace. * Assist other PHP teams with miscellaneous tasks as needed. * Additional duties as described by management.

- Separating the plant flower from both the stalk and stems of the full dry plant

- Maintain proper cleanliness and organization in order to avoid cross contamination of plants
- Help work in the garden at times when extra help is needed, this includes deleafing and helping with harvest!

The Processing Analytics Data Specialist position is responsible for a variety of duties on the Analytics Team for the Processing Department in IL, MA, NY, OH, and PA. The focus of the Data Specialist is to properly report production and processing information from the seed to sale system (METRC/Biotrack/MJ Freeway), ERP (Dynamics NAV), and our internal systems. In addition, the Data Specialist is responsible for verifying the accuracy of data used to compile reports and will be assigned various reporting duties as needed. This position requires a high attention to detail and an intermediate working knowledge of seed to sales systems, Dynamics NAV, Google Sheets, and Excel. The position provides regular and timely communication with Analytics, Compliance, and Processing management as well as team members within those departments. The Data Specialist is expected to operate under the highest standards of compliance and professionalism.
Essential Duties
Data Entry and Systems
- METRC/Biotrack/MJ Freeway/NAV data entry and adjustments for Processing Department products.
- Enter and edit data in internal Google Sheets and Excel Reports.
- Seed to sale system searches and product verification.
- Validate data provided from PROCESSING DEPARTMENT Production Teams.
Auditing
- Assist with digital audits of Processing Analytics teams' & Processing Production teams' work to ensure accuracy.
- Assists with physical audits at the end of year and any additional audits required throughout the year.
Reporting
- Run reports in METRC/Biotrack/MJ Freeway, and Dynamics NAV in relation to Processing production, on hand inventory, distribution rates and sales.
- Search internal systems on a wide range of data including but not limited to: plants, packages, labor statistics, testing results, yield statistics, etc.
- Accurately compile and scrub data to report on a wide range of activities in multiple departments as assigned.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Helps to ensure that workflow and work procedures are documented and that appropriate controls are in place to ensure data and processing integrity.
Other Duties
- Coverage in other areas of Analytics.
- Occasional coverage/assistance for data entry.
- Helps maintain production counters and assists in the development of new data tools.
- Using data to identify new opportunities.
Supervision
- Works under the direct supervision of the Processing Analytics Supervisor, also takes direction from the Analytics Manager(s).
- This person does not supervise others.
Job Qualifications
Work Experience
- One to three years of data entry experience is required.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Google Sheets and/or Excel required.
- One year of experience working in METRC, Biotrack, or MJ Freeway
- Prior experience working within Dynamics NAV, Counter Point, or similar inventory tracking systems preferred.
- Data analysis experience preferred.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management and adherence to FIFO.
- Knowledge of state and federal employment laws relating to key areas of responsibility.
- Must be able to secure appropriate work credentials from the varying state regulatory agencies.

The Packaging & Processing Specialist is responsible for manicuring and packaging plant material and infused products. PROCESSING SPECIALIST
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Processing Specialist is responsible for executing the processing activities for the site. This includes production, trimming, and packaging. The Processing Specialist will work closely with the management team to maintain the health of the cannabis plants. Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the processing areas and will assist in monitoring and documenting processing activities. This work is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as the state and local regulations required to ensure a safe and clean working environment and condition of the cultivation center.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for executing assigned tasks, projects and expectations of the Processing Manager with the processing of producing manufactured and non-manufactured cannabis goods
- Ensuring plant traceability through the Metrc system per quality policies
- Responsible for completing any work assigned to them during their scheduled shift, as well as information sharing with the management teams
- Operate and maintain processing equipment with direction from the Processing Manager
- Execute drying, curing, flower buck and trim and packaging equipment per schedule
- Operate and maintain packaging equipment
- Assist with training technicians and seasonal workers when necessary
- Maintaining compliant conditions and/or correcting non-compliant conditions with a continuous improvement attitude
- Responsible for clean-up of all processing areas and equipment at the end of every day
- Track performance of rooms and present to management the room health and progress, noting any outliners of concerns to collaborate on
- Follow all safety requirements and execute cleaning procedures daily and during changeovers
- Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers
- Ensure required trainings are up to date per company policies and regulations
- May at times, train seasonal employees on defined tasks
- Follow company processing methods
- Harvest with the ‘all hands on deck’ attitude
- Comply to all Good Manufacturing Practices “GMP” requirements for each room on the compound

- Keep a precise count of all packaged products for an accurate end of day reconciliation of packaged inventory and remaining inventory
- Electronically convert packaged products in the state traceability system
- Exhibit competency in basic organizational skills, communication skills and windows based operating software
- Manage time efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product
- Sanitation & cleanup of all processing areas throughout the day
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Education or GED required
- 1+ years working in production environment strongly preferred
- Must work well in a group and independently; demonstrate self-motivation and initiative

Responsibilities
- Breakdown cured batches and extracted oil from the lab into multiple different weight increments (3.5 g, 7 g, ½ g and 1 g etc.) and package them accordingly
- Keep a precise count of all packaged product and weight(s) of product used for an accurate end of day reconciliation of packaged inventory and remaining inventory
- Package infused and plant material into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations
- Electronically convert packaged products in the state traceability system
- Exhibit competency in basic organizational skills, communication skills and windows based operating software
- Manage time efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product
- Sanitation & cleanup of all processing areas throughout the day

The Role
This position is responsible for manicuring wet or dry plant material, breaking down plants, and packaging plant material and infused products. This person will also have some responsibility for tracking product electronically on the company MRP system to ensure compliance with state laws and program regulations.

About the Role:
