JOB SUMMARY
The Pre-Roll Specialist is responsible for the daily activities involving manipulating flower & oil, weighing, stuffing, rolling labeling, and packaging cannabis products in an efficient and timely fashion. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Staging product and packaging supplies to meet the daily production schedules.
- Performing quality assurance protocols as designated by procedures.
- Responsible for increasing operational efficiency and reducing waste through ownership, teamwork, communication, and collaboration.
- Perform in-process and post-process quality assurance testing and conducting visual inspections to ensure all product meets or exceed specifications.
- Ensuring 100% compliance involving proper weighing, data recording, product tracking, and security throughout the entire packaging process.
- Consistently operates in an efficient manner that also complies with all OSHA regulations, SOP’s, and all applicable required procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring each product is properly labeled in compliance with the DCC Regulations.
- Keep a precise count of all packaged product and weight(s) of product used for an accurate end of day reconciliation of packaged inventory and remaining inventory.
- Electronically convert packaged products in the state traceability system.
- Operates and maintains packaging lines for pre-roll equipment, stations, and program.
- Oversees the safe and secure transport of cannabis and cannabis products between production environments and secured storage, in a sanitary manner.
- Efficiently fill the pre-roll cones.
- Accurately weigh pre-rolls and fill to standards.
- Track and record pre-roll count each day.
- Maintain and clean the pre-roll workspace.
- Maintain the quality of the pre-rolls.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Since Prerolls are one of our fastest moving products, the hours required from a Preroll Specialist are 8AM - 4PM, Monday through Friday.
A preroll specialist is responsible for running and maintaining the production of joints through the use of a Futurolla Knockbox. Knowledge of this machine is preferred, but not required. This position requires working closely with the Trim Manager to achieve the best quality prerolled joint possible.
The specialist is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their designated area throughout the day as well as cleaning the area at the end of each day. This includes but is not limited to cleaning the knockbox machine, the area in which the machine is run, and the mini shredder that is used to grind flower. The preroll specialist is responsible for checking in with the trim manager at the end of the day to ensure all areas are left in a clean state.
The preroll specialist is responsible for ensuring they have successfully clocked in/out for the day.
This is an $18/hour position. Employee discounts are offered on all products, as well as PTO being available.
There are no educational requirements to hold a preroll specialist position. However, the applicant must be 21 years of age. Knowledge of marijuana and the marijuana industry is preferred but not required.

Cannabis Pre-Roll Specialist
Works with the Dry/Trim manager to perform all duties related to pre-roll and packaging operations. This is an entry level position and compensation is $15/hr.
Duties:
Production and packaging of pre-rolls for medical and adult use.
Keeps logs (electronic and paper) for proper tracking and reporting of all inventory.
Inputs data and controls flow of production
Cross-trains on and working alongside with the Cultivation team with the harvest, drying, trimming, weighing, and packaging of medical cannabis product line when required.
Cleans any/all production areas to ensure no cross contamination occurs and ensures compliance with local and state health regulations
Follows appropriate control measures to prevent mixing of batches and/or weights of batches.
Aspires to learn the components of the plant.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Performing his/her duties in a safe manner and environment while adhering to all governmental regulations for this industry.
Performing in-process and post-process quality assurance testing and conducting visual inspections to ensure all product meets or exceed TRIPLE M’s specifications and patients’ expectations. Such quality assurance work and reporting shall include but not be limited to:
Recording and monitoring process conditions to ensure compliance to standard operating procedures
Proper weighing, data recording, and batch tracking throughout TRIPLE M’s process
- Assist in monitoring processing supplies and inventory.

About the Role:
The Pre-Roll Production Specialist is responsible for taking in inventory of cured flower and using a pre-roll manufacturing device to weigh out the correct amount of flower to create pre-rolls, adjusting weight, finishing, packaging, sealing, labeling and tracking the finished product precisely and effectively. All dried flower inventory attained from the curing department must be accurately accounted for - accuracy in weighing product, fulfilling product, labeling, and inventory is paramount. The Pre-Roll Production Specialist is also responsible for maintaining a perpetually clean work space to provide a sterile environment for production of medical products. Our ideal candidate has a relentlessly positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and great attention to detail.
Core Responsibilities
- Prioritize manufacturing of strains based on inventory availability and the sales manager’s direction

Package product without degrading the quality, weighing it on a certified scale to an exact weight and placing the product in the dram or bag
- Keep a precise count of all packaged product and weight(s) of product used for an accurate end of day reconciliation of packaged inventory and remaining inventory
- Print correct labels for packaged product - properly and effectively adhere them to the dram or bag along with a tamper label and mini-label when necessary
- Develop a skill in analyzing potential problems with strains and product being packaged - ability to identify problems that may have been over looked and bringing these issues to a managers’ attention
- Share responsibility of clean-up of all processing areas and equipment at the end of every day
- Team members may be trained to have a basic knowledge of the “BioTrack” inventory system as it pertains to the department
