Position Summary/Objective The Post-Harvest Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all functions related to drying/curing, trimming, and packaging and harvesting. This allows an inventory to be constructed which can be utilized by the Supply chain team and the Production Operations Manager.

Working with all employees engaged in post-harvest activities, he/she will ensure the entire process is monitored, and regulated. The Post Harvest Supervisor will provide the organizational tools to improve the capability of the business process. The Post Harvest Supervisor must ensure compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.

- Knowledge of physical security requirements for Controlled Substances related legislations, regulations and guidelines in Mississippi.
- Strong and current knowledge with logistics planning system (ERP) and other computer applications.

POSITION SUMMARY

Purpose
The Supervisor of Post Harvest is responsible for overseeing the operational workflow from processing harvest plants to final packaging of the flower product at the Buckeye Lake, OH cultivation facility. This position is accountable for supervising and developing staff to be trained and follow the standard operating procedures, prepared with the proper equipment within the Post Harvest department to achieve a consistent, high quality packaged product. The Supervisor of Post Harvest will exemplify effective leadership, communication, and professionalism to achieve the daily and weekly objective for the cultivation facility. This role will be asked to maintain compliant, safe, and consistent production expectations, along with guiding the progressions of the department through analytics, technology, and equipment advancements. This role will report to the Manager of Cultivation to support the supervision and direction of the Post Harvest department.
Essential Duties
Leadership Procedures & Tasks
- Oversee and supervise all aspects of the Post Harvest department for the Buckeye Lake, OH cultivation facility from processing harvested plants to final packaging of cannabis flower.
- This position is responsible for the supervision and coordination of the Post Harvest department operational workflow, supporting the team to achieve daily and weekly objectives, training, coordinating and developing staff to improve efficiencies, and problem solving and conflict resolution towards product, equipment, room conditions, and staff. Effectively analyze and direct the progress of the department productivity and execution utilizing collected data, evolving expectations, and collaborating with relevant department leadership.
- Providing effective leadership to employees to ensure a complete understanding of and alignment to PharmaCann's vision, mission, and values to maintain a positive work environment and a high level of morale.
- Support the Manager of Cultivation with facility related events.
- Be able to provide assistance to the Manager of Cultivation towards manufacturing projects, and then proactively and creatively achieve effective results within a given budget and by a deadline.
- Achieve and participate in the coordination of practices and processes to evolve and maintain the department under GMP protocols. Work closely with the Quality Assurance leadership to ensure commitment to the updating of practices.
- Supporting the Manager of Cultivation by supervising and coordinating with the department towards staff planning, scheduling, hiring, onboarding, transferring, promoting, demoting, and termination as necessary to achieve professional, compliant, safe, and production results. Responsible for the execution of proper training, annual reviews, and employee engagement exercises for the Post Harvest department.

Training Requirements
- This position will follow the direction and training by the Manager of Cultivation assigned to the Buckeye Lake, OH cultivation facility. This position is expected to be knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of the cultivation facilities assigned. The role is expected to engage in proactive participation to be able to clearly lead to achieve the high standard cultivation practices, consistently and compliant.

- Understanding how to compliantly operate within the cultivation based on the state laws and regulations.
Workspace and Material Maintenance
- Ensure Post Harvest machinery and rooms are operating properly at all times, and prepared to support coordination and resolution with relevant departments and contractors when maintenance, troubleshooting, or broken equipment become a concern.
- Provide direction and training to Post Harvest department staff with a safe, well maintained, and organized work area. Support the leadership of Post Harvest departments towards procuring proper supplies and equipment, with recurring purchasing coordination with the Supply Chain department for essential replenishments towards workflow.
- Provide leadership and direction towards processes of sanitizing, organizing, maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, workspace functionality, and supplies to maintain proper organization of the cultivation facility.
- Provide communication and collaboration with supporting departments, such as and not limited to, Facilities, Safety, C&A, Quality Assurance, and IT, to resolve equipment, technology, and operational issues then prevent standard operating workflow.
- Support the leadership of cultivation departments towards noticeable environmental or product quality concerns. Address them by finding solutions to resolve and maintain best practices.
Compliance and Reporting
- Direct the Post Harvest department staff in upholding current laws and regulations towards the cultivation facility. Adapt to updated laws and regulations to implement safe and effective practices to sustain highest quality standards and efficiencies.
- Oversee the inventory tracking and reporting for cannabis product throughout the Post Harvest workflow.
- Direct the Post Harvest department staff in training and supervision to ensure compliance of the cultivation facility. Coordinate, train, coach, supervise, discipline, and analyze with staff to maintain compliant practices and workflow. Any compliance or safety mistake or error created must be addressed, reported, and resolved. Communication with appropriate leadership to ensure resolution.
- Direct the Post Harvest department towards the communication and collaboration with other supporting departments, such as and not limited to, Analytics, C&A, and Quality Assurance to ensure workflow operation maintains proper reporting, tracking, and compliance with laws, regulations, and company practices.
Supervision
- Works under the direct supervision of the Manager of Cultivation.
- This position is responsible for the supervision and oversight of the Post Harvest department for the Ohio cultivation facility. Supervising staff, including hiring and developing, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving employee issues.
- Ensure that individual and team performance meets PharmaCann's standards of service and quality.
- Supervise the Post Harvest department attendance, time off balances, time off requests, pay change requests, position change requests, and all other attendance and documentation related procedures/processes.

- This position is expected to be available as needed to adherir to the responsibilities within and throughout the job description.

OrGroTech is a Tier II indoor cannabis cultivation facility in St Helens, Oregon, and we are looking for a new member to join our team. We are seeking candidates with cannabis industry experience. You MUST have your OLCC marijuana worker permit, or be waiting for your permit to be approved, to begin working at OrGroTech.
As a Post-Harvest Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of post-harvest cannabis processing: from the cure process to packaging. This will include but limited to cleaning, supply chain management, crew supervision and quality control--all while observing OLCC, OSHA, and company regulations and standard operating procedures.
Must be able to:
- Work all shifts including weekends
- Work on your feet for 8-10 hours a day, besides breaks and lunch
- Repetitive motions for extended periods of time
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Regularly move up to 30 lbs.
- Work time expectation: 80-90% of the time will be on your feet.
We are looking for someone who:
- Prior Cannabis Industry Experience REQUIRED
- Has knowledge and understanding of the Cannabis Cure Process.
- Is a team player with a hard-working, positive attitude.
- Has flexibility in their schedule to work when the product is ready to be processed.

Flower Packaging Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all of the processes of the flower packaging department, including, but not limited to properly sorting, weighing, packaging, and labeling of material designated for flower finished goods, maintaining inventory updates and adjustments and ensuring a compliant processing environment. Flower Packaging Supervisor will be cross trained in Post-Harvest to provide occasional support in other areas per business needs.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Demonstrate the values of integrity, safety, quality, service, and innovation
- Provide accountability for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Teamwork for the packing room team and processes reporting on KPI’s daily, monthly, and quarterly
- Design, create, implement, and improve packing procedures in the department
- Provide leadership and guidance to Packing Room Lead(s) to ensure daily/weekly operations, productivity, and quality goals are met
- Conduct employee evaluations, counseling, or other documentation to maintain consistency and successful results
- Ensure adherence to policies and SOPs set forth by upper management, state and company requirements
- Provide direction to Packing Room Lead(s) and technicians on daily/weekly production schedules
- Maintain proficient knowledge in plant diseases, pests, and contaminants

- Responsible for all material movements and weights for the trimming process, verifying location movements, weights, and transactions in MJF
- Responsible for the trim room and related processes (destemming, hand trimming, machine trimming, and sorting)
- Provide mentorship for the Packing Room Lead(s), developing them professionally
- Assist in the training of new Packing Room Lead(s) and technicians
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Review and maintain dry room supplies; submit orders to the Post-Harvest Manager for replacements
- Perform other duties as assigned by Post-Harvest Manager or other upper management
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 2+ years of leadership experience desired
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor’s degree desired (or equitable role experience)
- Ability to multi-task, have attention to detail, and be able to clearly communicate in writing or verbally
- Cannabis Experience a plus
- Utilization of Cannabis State tracking system- MJ Freeway, METRIC or the like desirable
- Operational knowledge of the MS Suite including Excel, Sharepoint and Teams

About the Job:
The Postharvest Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day-to-day postharvest work in accordance with standards set by the company. Provides direct support for all postharvest associates, including schedules, training, policy and procedure updates, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedure including managing and tracking the harvest, dry, trim, cure and packaging of product Responsible for highest possible standards of work in postharvest, maintaining facility compliance, and cleanliness in accordance with State regulations and standards set by the company.
- Assist Post Harvest Manager in overseeing day to day operations in post-harvest
- Oversee and track weights/waste to document on the buck and trim log
- Tag flower and trim in METRC/Leaf Logix
- Oversee daily trim room break down and clean up are followed and documentation is prepared and submitted as required.

Production Supervisor (Post Harvest)
Summary:
The Production Supervisor is member of our Operations Inventory team that is responsible for post-harvest tracking (MJ Freeway and internal systems), materials trimming and processing, QA and testing. The Production Supervisor will report directly to the Inventory Manager.
Responsibilities:
The Production Supervisor tasks involve biomass management and execution accuracy in compliance with all phases of the post-harvest cycle. These duties include but are not limited to:
Oversee all functions related to drying/curing, trimming, and inventory management
Train and manage all post-harvest technicians on post-harvest duties
Monitoring environment of trimming / storage areas and containers
Organization of batch specific product
Biomass Quality Control and storage SOP oversight
Follow cGMP and Safety standards
Verify and maintain all checklists, logs, and documentation pertaining to harvested and packaged product
Schedule and prepare product for 3rd party lab testing in accordance with packaging plans
Verify all Seed-to-Sale transactions for accuracy
Ensure product is incompliance at all times
Maintain inventory of all department consumables and requisition new materials in a timely manner
Maintain sanitary conditions that meet SOPs in all post-harvest areas at all times
Inspection of work areas, equipment, and uniforms
Updating standard operating procedures
Work as part of the ERP Implementation team
Ensure all green waste is disposed of properly
Other duties as designated by Inventory Manager and Director of Operations
Oversee scheduling, timecards and monitor attendance
Must be able to work on feet for extended periods of time
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in track and trace, internal inventory tracking and ERP systems
Skilled in working across Microsoft Office Suite with Excel expertise
High attention to detail and work accuracy
Must be at least 21 years of age
May not be convicted of any felony offenses pursuant to state statues and able to pass a state background check
Valid driver's license
Ability to work evenings and weekends when required
Ability to lift up to 50 lb
Strong verbal and communication skills
Strong work ethic and able to own processes/systems, functions independently
Problem solver and team player who approaches problems and opportunities with passion and integrity
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or Bachelor's degree

About the Job:
The Postharvest Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day-to-day postharvest work in accordance with standards set by the company. Provides direct support for all postharvest associates, including schedules, training, policy and procedure updates, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedure including managing and tracking the harvest, dry, trim, cure and packaging of product Responsible for highest possible standards of work in postharvest, maintaining facility compliance, and cleanliness in accordance with State regulations and standards set by the company.
- Assist Post Harvest Manager in overseeing day to day operations in post-harvest
- Oversee and track weights/waste to document on the buck and trim log
- Tag flower and trim in METRC/Leaf Logix
- Oversee daily trim room break down and clean up are followed and documentation is prepared and submitted as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing and monitoring all harvests, weights and measurements; presentation; and maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and sterility inside the trimming and processing area.
- Manage inventory of bulk and prepackaged products. Set Up appropriate inventory levels, ensure proper quantity of packages/products to meet production requirements.
- Interview and train new associates; plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance; develop teams and team leads for results and retention.
- Manage schedules of staff.
- Making sure all Labeling and recording of inventory data into inventory tracking system is done in compliance with the State regulations.
- Responsible for Quality Control and maintenance of all packaging equipment.
- Ensure daily compliance with policies and procedures including but not limited to; state compliance, security protocols, and access protocols
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to maximize productivity levels through efficiencies in human capital, reduction of material waste, and elimination of downtime; continue to develop and improve safety program and best practices
- Produce appropriate weekly and monthly reports to leadership team
- Liaison with logistics, dispensary operations staff
- Take instructions and help out on tasks delegated by the cultivation management team.
- Work in a fast-pace environment where major changes are made quickly
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Must understand and implement the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures set forth by the state; a pursuit to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and laws is appreciated and commendable.
- Work history showing progressive responsibility, willingness to accept additional projects or challenges.
- Experience in horticulture, botany, chemistry or related field preferred but not required.
- Ability to manage all areas related to harvesting, drying, trimming and curing.
