Job Summary
Red Vault Extraction (RVE), a Kentucky based hemp extraction company, is seeking a plant controller to join our team in Mayfield, KY. The Plant Controller will work closely with the General Manager by providing financial reporting and analytics on the performance of RVE. More specifically, this position will work in collaboration with the RVE Kentucky team in providing direct hands-on support by providing accounting and financial reporting, data analytics, trends and variances, tracking KPIs and management dashboards to support strategic business decisions relating to RVE’s operations.
Core Job Duties
Financial analysis and reporting:
- Work in collaboration with the operations team to understand the pricing and cost components of RVE’s products to provide appropriate reporting
- Understand costing information and pricing models to develop reporting in support of effective pricing strategies and insights for RVE’s products with a view to meeting short, medium and long-term objectives
- Collection and extraction of financial and market data for various products
- Prepare and maintain budget and forecast templates and various financial models
- Help support and track the identified and implemented Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to promote timely effective decision making
- Participate in monthly business reviews and provide analytical support
- Perform ad-hoc financial/quantitative analysis and various reporting, financial modeling, and business operations requests

Financial and accounting management of operations:
