Job Summary
The Physician Dispensary Technician is responsible for receiving, filling, and dispensing of prescription requests and plays a significant role in the coordination of patient access to care. The Physician Dispensary Technician works under the direct supervision of the Medical Provider.
Job Responsibilities
Performs the following tasks in an accurate and timely fashion under the supervision of the Medical Provider:
- Responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of prescriptions within the pharmacy system, fills and prepares orders for patient pickup in office
- Accurately enters patients into the pharmacy system and updates/maintains records as needed
- Investigates opportunities for manufacturer-based patient assistance and/or foundation assistance to ensure access to unaffordable medications
- Performs Prior Authorizations, communicates possible delays and helps to facilitate affordable access to oral chemotherapy medications for all patients
- Properly handles insurance rejections, denials, unique patient circumstances to troubleshoot for claim resolution
- Contacts patients and/or caregivers to determine supply needs, establish refill schedules, and anticipate upcoming Office Visits
- Provides an excellent patient service experience at all times
- Communicates clearly and effectively both in person, via email and phone to a variety of audiences including patients, Physicians, Nursing, Administration and staff as well as PBMs and third-party claim processing groups
- Documents all pertinent patient communications and escalates to the Medical Provider as needed
- Places medication purchase orders and controls inventory by ordering as needed to meet patient demand
- Performs monthly on-hand Inventory and maintains an accurate count record within the pharmacy system
- Maintains organized prescription hardcopy filing records according to state and federal laws
- Retrieves necessary documentation to respond to Auditing requests
- Ensures that all pharmacy areas are cleaned regularly and free of clutter
- Adheres to appropriate safety and quality assurance practices and policies
- Complies with state and federal laws
Education and Licensure Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a Retail Pharmacy environment
- Experience with patient copay assistance programs and/or foundation assistance is preferred
- High-level operation of pharmacy software experience is preferred

We are currently looking for a personable, tech-savvy physician to oversee our office in The Villages. We’ve already established a strong area presence in this market resulting in a sizable patient-base that would be in need of your care.
This position will be Monday - Friday and we are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions. Shift times and lunch times are flexible and can be determined by the physician. CannaMD physicians are independently contracted and can earn up to $240,000 per year. Very competitive compensation arrangements are available.

In accordance with state law, all CannaMD physicians must hold an active, unrestricted license as either an allopathic physician or osteopathic physician and be in compliance with all state-mandated education requirements.
At this time, educational requirements include:
- Completing an annual course and exam administered by either the Florida Medical Association or Florida Osteopathic Medical Association.
Also in line with Senate Bill 8A, CannaMD physicians may not be employed by, or have any direct or indirect economic interest in, any medical marijuana treatment centers or marijuana testing laboratories.

In order to achieve this, the practitioner's role is to streamline the process for medical cannabis patients to receive their medical cannabis certifications. The scope of this work includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Completing a good-faith physical or telemedicine examination to
- determine patient eligibility for their state medical marijuana program
- Establishing a bona-fide relationship with the patient
- Reviewing any patient medical records, if necessary
- Completing the patient medical cannabis recommendation and validating for one full year. (This is NOT a medical marijuana prescription. Since marijuana is classified as Schedule I Drug, medical marijuana prescriptions are illegal in most states)
- Performing any necessary follow up consultations within the full one-year validation period of patient certification
- Answering patient inquiries or directing patients to the appropriate resources/MDsimple department
- Remaining up to date on state medical cannabis program regulations

On our website, patients book appointments in their area based on doctor availability and pre-pay for a consultation with the doctor. Patients are then seen for an evaluation by the doctor.
In Low THC states, CBD is readily available for patients with qualifying conditions as long as they are approved by a licensed physician.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Canna Wellness Clinics & CBD is seeking to add a Certified Medical Cannabis Physicians to its ranks. There are openings for a positions supporting our Boynton Beach and soon to open Miami Gardens offices.
Candidates are required to be medically licensed to practice medicine in the Florida, comfortable with both patient use and the advocacy of medical cannabis, have their own transportation, and excel in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be engaging, proactive, independent self-starters with solid judgment and consultation ability and experience. Candidates having a Florida medical marijuana certification is preferred but not required. Computer experience and use of EMR/EHR systems is a plus.
LOCATIONS: Boynton Beach and Miami Gardens
Part-Time positions will be considered for both locations. This position may require temporary travel to other locations up to an hour’s drive away based on patient/staffing needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Do you have a passion for helping people succeed in using cannabis as medicine, and enjoy patient engagement?
The certified medical cannabis physician is responsible for engaging with patients, confirming that they have one of the qualifying conditions that meets the requirements under Fl. Statute to apply for a medical marijuana license, working with our highly trained staff to help patients learn the essentials on how to use cannabis-based products for the treatment of patient ailments, while creating and maintaining community engagement and ensuring compliance with Company policies and protocols.

The State of Mississippi has adopted the Medical Cannabis Program for patients suffering from a variety of qualifying conditions. Marijuana Card Clinic (MMJ) is a company whose goal is to certify patients that qualify for medical marijuana.
MMJ Card Clinic is searching to partner with a certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensed to prescribe medicine by their respective state boards to certify patients in the state of Mississippi with qualifying conditions. Clinic will be based in Jackson, Mississippi as the State does require in-person visits. Schedule is flexible with plans for 1-2 clinic days/week at this time.
Provider must register with Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) and participate in CME (8 hours prior to registration and 5 hours for renewal). CME must be MSDH approved.
EMR training will be provided.

Utah requires the first visit consultation to be in person but all follow-on visits will be conducted via Telemed. As such, you will need to be familiar with and apply best practices to provide the highest standard of care to patients via Telehealth platforms.

Job Summary
The Physician & Community Outreach Associate is responsible for building and launching the Ayr Wellness physician and community outreach program in Florida. Associates will work with the Manager to help develop market plans to identify and build relationships with physicians recommending medical marijuana hat drive patient referrals and oversee community outreach efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Build Ayr Wellness referral network through engaging and growing relationships with physicians and clinics recommending medical marijuana.
- Will be assigned to a territory to achieve the target goals with weekly input to CRM per standards for activity and inquiries.
- Maintains weekly activity logs and admission data.
- Source, plan, lead and/or attend local community events including but not limited to new store openings, chamber of commerce events, music festivals, health fairs, medical marijuana conferences, patient and caregiver advocacy events, etc.

- Create processes to track, measure, and analyze results and outcomes of outreach
