We just won Weedmaps best of 2022 and We are building a new fully licensed, legal and compliant Cannabis Delivery system. The Cannabis Delivery Dispatcher will be responsible for ensuring each delivery is conducted as smoothly and efficiently as possible, thereby guaranteeing an all-around positive experience for our delivery partners, drivers, and customers. We are looking for a self-motivated, hard-working individual who performs at an exceptional level during high-pressure situations. Extremely precise and clear communication is a pivotal part of this role.
Responsibilities Efficiently and logically assign orders to drivers based on local geography, traffic patterns, and time constraints. Provide support for drivers who need assistance out on their delivery routes. Communicate potential operational and technical issues. Provide exceptional customers service in all interactions via phone, text, or email. Develop and maintain rapport with our delivery partners, drivers, and staff. Ensure customers’ concerns and/or questions are solved and answered promptly and efficiently, and communicate customer requests and/or problems to a manager when needed. Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect. Maintain the strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPPA guidelines where applicable. Qualifications Personal knowledge of various cannabis products. Preferred not required. Previous dispatch experience a plus. Available to work varied hours/days, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and/or events (Required). Strong geospatial skills and CA geography knowledge. The ability to make rapid decisions in a high-pressure environment. Excellent communication, social and organization skills. Ability to multi-task. A can-do, optimist attitude. Ability to adhere to the highest customer service standards at all times. Ability to communicate clearly, honestly and effectively with customers and staff in all situations. Strong problem solving, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment. Must possess a high degree of personal ownership and accountability. Must have a high level of organization. Must possess a valid California state ID or driver’s license.

The Phone Dispatcher is responsible for providing exceptional and professional service to all customers, vendors and guests that order through text or our online service. The Phone Dispatcher will work in various roles within the company, as outlined below. It is imperative that they represent the brand with professionalism, passion, and provide extensive cannabis product knowledge to every customer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Answer and route all incoming calls from patients and customers.
- Provide excellent customer service as well as maintain a professional, positive, and friendly attitude when dealing with guests on the phone.
- Input patient registration information into system
- Use database to search for existing patients to initiate and process transactions.
- Handle all online and phone orders through text messaging system.
- Coordinate with packer to ensure completion of customer's order.
- Follow all store procedures, protocols and rules
- Cashier transactions with attention to detail and accuracy
- Cash handling and drawer reconciliation must be impeccable
- Always maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Manage, route, track and assign deliveries to a fleet of drivers
- Accurately track, report and assign cash bags and tips for drivers
- Ensure correct product is pulled and bagged for each order
- Pay attention to details and accurately prepare each order
- Identify and communicate items unable to fulfill due to inventory discrepancies to the Manager on Duty or Inventory Manager
- Assist customers with possible substitutions when items are sold out or are unable to be fulfilled
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must pass a comprehensive background check
- Valid identification to work in the US
- Possess strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Must be proactive and solution oriented with a positive attitude
- Strong multi-tasker and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in technology software, desktop electronics, mobile devices (iPad)
- Phone and logistics experience is a plus
