The Role

Team Leadership
- Manage, supervise, and direct the activities of assigned staff and partner with Corporate Recruiting and HR teams to make recommendations regarding hiring, discipline, termination, or advancement of employees

Operations
- Participate in developing and implementing operational rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to advance GTI's mission, vision, goals, and objectives
- Oversee and manage quality product inventory and financial records
- Work with GTI's VP of Marketing on marketing, promotions, and the maintenance of reports as they pertain to the daily operations and financials of the dispensary
- Manage financial records and cash handling procedures
- Work with GTI's management team to create budgets and forecast sales
- Set sales, service, and profit goals and lead staff to exceed them
- Work with wholesalers to negotiate and procure an adequate supply of quality products
- Ensures the Pharmacy/Dispensary operates in accordance to local and state regulations as well as GTI company policies & standards
Customer Service
- Ensure the safety and satisfaction of every patient
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of every product and strain in the store, as well as industry-wide product knowledge
- Compound and dispense medications accurately for delivery to patient care areas
- Provides timely and accurate medication information to patients
- Consults patients and assesses patient's certification to determine best course of treatment
- Processes all medication order information into an electronic health record to ensure accuracy of records regarding past, current and future dispensing and charging
- Maintain a comprehensive pharmacy patient profile. Oversee the packaging labeling, and distribution of medications for all patients and employees according to established policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Partner with Community Outreach to provide accurate information to patients, medical providers, and the community at large while serving as a positive representation of GTI in the community
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a retail setting
- 3+ years as a licensed pharmacist
- Current and active Pharmacists license

Position Overview:
The General Manager (GM), Pharmacist is responsible for consulting with qualified patients and caregivers and administering approved medical marijuana products. They are also responsible for day-to-day operations of the dispensing facility. They oversee all activities related to compliance, operations, and patient service delivery of the dispensing facility to include patient identification and registration, record retention, product tracking, inventory control, sales and excellent patient experience delivery. The GM leads the dispensary team, manages the P&L, fosters patient satisfaction, and ensures compliance with all state and local regulations. This position requires that the incumbent maintains an active State pharmacist license and has completed the course(s) pursuant to the Statute.
Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- Ensuring compliance with all State Medical Marijuana Program rules and regulations governing the Act, and directly supervising the activity within the dispensary to include dispensary staff training and education.
- Providing management and leadership in the Dispensing Facility to include monitoring all point of sale transactions.
- Managing patient specific logs as required, receiving, storage and auditing of all inventory, and is responsible for ordering new inventory and supplies, maintaining accurate records using ADILAS, the Dispensing Facility’s inventory tracking software program.
- As the responsible party at the Dispensing Facility, this position resolves all inventory discrepancies as well as any patient-staff conflicts.
- Directly supervising the activity within the dispensary to include dispensary staff hiring, training, performance management, and retaining top quality staff.
- Ensuring compliance with all State and local medical marijuana regulations.
- Providing management and leadership in the dispensary to include monitoring all point of sale transactions, managing patient and inventory specific logs as required by regulations, monitoring the receipt, storage and auditing of all inventory, ordering new inventory and supplies, maintaining accurate records, ensuring the security and confidentiality of all patient information, as well as overall compliance with HIPAA.
- Resolving all inventory discrepancies and patient-staff conflicts.
- Establishing and executing plans to detect, identify and prevent dispensing errors related to product packaging, labeling, and dispensing.
- Managing and implementing policies and procedures for any retesting of returned approved medical marijuana products, storage and/or disposal of such products, and meeting reporting requirements for adverse events and product recall.
- Implementing and maintaining security systems for tracking, record keeping, record retention and surveillance related to all product at every stage of storage, delivery, transportation, and distribution.
- Resolving employee concerns and performance or behavioral issues with the support of Human Capital as needed.
- Maintaining the facility conducive to a positive patient experience and satisfactory employee work environment.
- Providing company-wide communication to staff and managing change as needed.
- Ensuring employee safety, wellness, and health & welfare.
Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
- Bachelor’s degree in the pharmaceutical sciences; Pharm. D. preferred.
- An active license in good standing without restrictions.
- Satisfactory completion of the State Medical Use of Marijuana CME designation.
- Familiarity with computers.
- Recent experience (within the last 5 years) with patient-oriented drug delivery systems and a passion for patient care and service delivery.
- 3+ years’ experience managing a retail operation.
- Must be passionate about handling all aspects of a retail operation to include staffing schedules, compliance, inventory control, purchasing, theft prevention and product diversion.
- Demonstrated management experience in a high growth environment are preferred.
- Solid business acumen, management reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills such as listening, coaching and training.
- Strong leadership, conflict management, project management and time management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

Role Summary:
The Pharmacist is responsible for consulting with medical cannabis patients and administering approved medical cannabis products. Job Responsibility:
· Oversee all pharmacy operations.
· Work with the team to achieve KPIs and organizational goals
- Supervise operations of the store and its team members: opening/closing/changing shifts, task delegation, and scheduling team members
· Supervise the control of store money including register counts, safe deposit, and change orders. Oversee all aspects of bookkeeping including invoices, cash reports, and time records
· Oversee inventory managers to ensure strict inventory control
· Oversee and manage other pharmacists (including scheduling and training)
· Meet with every new cannabis patient and conduct a consultation
· Listen and understand patient conditions and determine the respective proper treatment options
· Ensure patient profiles are up to date with current limits from their provider
· Aid in management of sales floor inventory activity, patient care advocates, and point of sale transactions
· Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and federal and state laws
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Must be licensed as a pharmacist to dispense controlled substances
· Ability to learn and understand cannabinoids and how they interact with the human body
· Working knowledge of inventory and sales reporting
· Highly motivated, self-directed to work individually or among team members
· Operates professionally and with integrity while dealing with confidential information
Skills required:
· Must be licensed as a pharmacist to dispense controlled substances
· Must complete 4-hour training course and become registered with the State as a cannabis pharmacist

Position Overview:
The General Manager (GM), Pharmacist is responsible for consulting with qualified patients and caregivers and administering approved medical marijuana products. They are also responsible for day-to-day operations of the dispensing facility. They oversee all activities related to compliance, operations, and patient service delivery of the dispensing facility to include patient identification and registration, record retention, product tracking, inventory control, sales and excellent patient experience delivery. The GM leads the dispensary team, manages the P&L, fosters patient satisfaction, and ensures compliance with all state and local regulations. This position requires that the incumbent maintains an active State pharmacist license and has completed the course(s) pursuant to the Statute.
Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- Ensuring compliance with all State Medical Marijuana Program rules and regulations governing the Act, and directly supervising the activity within the dispensary to include dispensary staff training and education.
- Providing management and leadership in the Dispensing Facility to include monitoring all point of sale transactions.
- Managing patient specific logs as required, receiving, storage and auditing of all inventory, and is responsible for ordering new inventory and supplies, maintaining accurate records using ADILAS, the Dispensing Facility’s inventory tracking software program.
- As the responsible party at the Dispensing Facility, this position resolves all inventory discrepancies as well as any patient-staff conflicts.
- Directly supervising the activity within the dispensary to include dispensary staff hiring, training, performance management, and retaining top quality staff.
- Ensuring compliance with all State and local medical marijuana regulations.
- Providing management and leadership in the dispensary to include monitoring all point of sale transactions, managing patient and inventory specific logs as required by regulations, monitoring the receipt, storage and auditing of all inventory, ordering new inventory and supplies, maintaining accurate records, ensuring the security and confidentiality of all patient information, as well as overall compliance with HIPAA.
- Resolving all inventory discrepancies and patient-staff conflicts.
- Establishing and executing plans to detect, identify and prevent dispensing errors related to product packaging, labeling, and dispensing.
- Managing and implementing policies and procedures for any retesting of returned approved medical marijuana products, storage and/or disposal of such products, and meeting reporting requirements for adverse events and product recall.
- Implementing and maintaining security systems for tracking, record keeping, record retention and surveillance related to all product at every stage of storage, delivery, transportation, and distribution.
- Resolving employee concerns and performance or behavioral issues with the support of Human Capital as needed.
- Maintaining the facility conducive to a positive patient experience and satisfactory employee work environment.
- Providing company-wide communication to staff and managing change as needed.
- Ensuring employee safety, wellness, and health & welfare.
Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
- Bachelor’s degree in the pharmaceutical sciences; Pharm. D. preferred.
- An active license in good standing without restrictions.
- Satisfactory completion of the State Medical Use of Marijuana CME designation.
- Familiarity with computers.
- Recent experience (within the last 5 years) with patient-oriented drug delivery systems and a passion for patient care and service delivery.
- 3+ years’ experience managing a retail operation.
- Must be passionate about handling all aspects of a retail operation to include staffing schedules, compliance, inventory control, purchasing, theft prevention and product diversion.
- Demonstrated management experience in a high growth environment are preferred.
- Solid business acumen, management reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills such as listening, coaching and training.
- Strong leadership, conflict management, project management and time management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

The Staff Pharmacist at Curaleaf UT is responsible for providing an outstanding patient experience while maximizing revenue goals, leading the management & development of the dispensary staff, and ensuring compliance with all inventory, security, and system protocols in the absence of The Dispensary Manager.
The Staff Pharmacist is also responsible for forecasting inventory levels, ordering & receiving the product, and maintaining accurate systems for regulatory reporting and sales analysis. Essential functions:
- Drive retail sales and patient retention
- Maintain all store operational standards
- Oversee inventory standards are maintained on site.

Patient and Physician Outreach:
- Organize and lead guest tours and maintain relationships with physicians, patients, politicians, and professionals in the community that we serve
- Provide ongoing education and outreach programs relating to medical cannabis for the benefit of member patients
- Coordinate on the success of promotions, coupon, and recommend future promotions and sales
- Measure customer satisfaction through surveys and interviews
- Responsible for the preparation of content for all educational materials and presentations
Cannabis knowledge:
- Develop a deep understanding of cannabis forms, dosing, drug interactions, and side effects.
- Understand the efficacy of variance strains, potencies, and methods of delivery
Qualifications:
- Certified Registered Utah State Pharmacist
- Pharmacy experience required
- Experience working in a heavily regulated industry necessary

Responsibilities
Team Leadership
Manage, supervise, and direct the activities of assigned staff and partner with Corporate Recruiting and HR teams to make recommendations regarding hiring, discipline, termination, or advancement of employees

Implement dispensary policies and ensure staff follows best practices

Maintain in-depth knowledge of every product and strain in the store, as well as industry-wide product knowledge
Compound and dispense medications accurately for delivery to patient care areas
Provides timely and accurate medication information to patients
Consults patients and assesses patient's certification to determine best course of treatment
Processes all medication order information into an electronic health record to ensure accuracy of records regarding past, current and future dispensing and charging
Maintain a comprehensive pharmacy patient profile. Oversee the packaging labeling, and distribution of medications for all patients and employees according to established policies, procedures, and guidelines
Partner with Community Outreach to provide accurate information to patients, medical providers, and the community at large while serving as a positive representation of GTI in the community
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in a management environment
3+ years as a licensed pharmacist
Bachelor's degree in Business or related experience

THE OPPORTUNITY
The Pharmacist In Charge is responsible for receiving, reviewing, and interpreting physician's orders, dispensing medication to patients, and working within a team of Pharmacy Technicians and operations personnel. PIC's are responsible for supervising compounding performed by pharmacy technicians to ensure that these activities are in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable state and federal law.
- Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders; detecting therapeutic incompatibilities.
- Dispenses medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals
- Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies; advising interventions.
- Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' workflow, verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals, verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
- Provides pharmacological information by answering questions, and requests of health care professionals, counseling patients on drug therapies.

The Pharmacist-in-Charge (“PIC”) is a managerial position that oversees the consultation and dispensing operations of a medical cannabis pharmacy and all employees related to medical operations while strictly adhering to Department of Health regulations. - Provide or supervise face-to-face consultation to all new patients regarding cannabis as a medicine and how it may help their qualifying condition as well as potential risks.
- Supervises actions of Medical Cannabis Pharmacy Agents (“MCPA”) and other Pharmacy Medical Providers (“PMP”) such as staff Pharmacists.
- Maintains, updates (as needed), and ensures strict employee adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform periodic inventory audits.
- Responsible for efficient organization of the Inventory Vault Room.
- Develop familiarity with and maintain the Department of Health mandated Inventory Control System software.
- Manages inventory in Product Quarantine Room - expired medicine, returns, and recalls including log entries and by contacting the appropriate parties if necessary.
- Responsible for ensuring proper sanitary and hygienic conditions throughout the medical cannabis pharmacy.
- Determine dosing parameters for patients if not provided by Qualified Medical Professional (“QMP”) - patient’s recommending medical professional.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all available medical cannabis therapies, products, delivery methods and strains including those in inventory and outside of inventory.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of scientific developments in the field of medical cannabis.
- Develop training programs and educational materials for Staff Pharmacists and Technicians.
- Develop educational materials and help to host educational events for patients and physicians .
- Monitor and oversee all cash handling operations within the medical cannabis pharmacy.
- Monitor and maintain a Quality Control and compliance log.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with Utah’s Medical Cannabis Act regulations.
