As a successful candidate, you will serve as the face and voice of 1906 in the region, build brand recognition, and drive retail engagement and executional excellence (training budtenders, merchandising, consumer engagement and education, promotions, incentives, and launches). PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Manager of Community Outreach will support the Director of Equity Programming and Community Outreach to develop and manage all outreach activity efforts to promote the inclusion of communities disproportionately harmed by marijuana arrests and incarceration and to engage with patients, licensees, government officials, minorities, women, veterans, and farmers. The Manager of Community Outreach will work to increase the awareness of the agency’s services and programming among certain communities, facilitating engagements with non-profits, strategic partnerships, agencies, trade associations, and other entities that work towards a more equitable industry. The Manager of Community Outreach will be responsible for brainstorming new partnerships and community engagement tactics and developing and implementing the community outreach strategy. Effectively planning, organizing, managing, and evaluating community outreach activities for the Commission.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design a statewide strategic outreach plan to promote Commission programs, initiatives, regulations, and thought leadership to communities that have disproportionately harmed by the War on Drugs, patents, licensees, government officials, and other stakeholders
- Travel across the Commonwealth to conduct community outreach, including booth and event management.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with various stakeholders, community leaders, agencies, and educational organizations.
- Build collaborative partnerships with community organizations;
- Participate in, support, and host in-person and virtual meetings, training, and program recruitment.
- Actively participate in community events and utilize relationships and networks to keep community members informed about policy developments.
- Establish and implement a metric system to measure the effectiveness of community outreach;
- In collaboration with Communications, assess public speaking requests for Commissioners and the leadership team;
- Use a variety of approaches to engage the public on an ongoing basis, including presentations, educational programs, and technology.
- Expand programming and outreach opportunities through partnership opportunities and develop educational opportunities for prioritized stakeholders.
- Oversee and manage community outreach projects from their conception to completion.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships internally, externally, and with constituents.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working with Commissioners, Director of Communications, Director of Government Affairs, and Director of Constituent Services to ensure messaging and training are consistent across populations and platforms;
- Attend training and lead training as appropriate.

The Manager of Community Outreach is a management position; as such, the successful candidate will be hired as an employee at will. This position is non-civil service. This position is an exempt position.

JOB SUMMARY
Cresco Labs seeks to fill a Manager of Patient Outreach position. This position is responsible for leading a coordinated program for community patient/customer outreach in the communities in which Sunnyside operates. This role will be responsible for designing and executing initiatives that facilitate the achievement of outreach goals, increase outreach and acquisition of new medical patients, and driving awareness of our brand and dispensaries in the community. The ideal candidate will be someone who can develop and nurture strong relationships in each community and build relationships with the groups and individuals throughout. This individual must be a self-starter, a strong people leader, goal oriented and able to show compassion to all of our patients. The role will be based in our Chicago office but will involve frequent travelling throughout the communities in which we operate.
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Develop the enterprise Patient Outreach and development strategy
- Oversee a team of regional Outreach Coordinators and together execute the objectives and goals of the Outreach department
- Develop and maintain measurement and KPI dashboards to enable measurement and growth
- Develop and oversee a organization-wide framework to be able to coordinate workshops within community support groups, for patients to register as well as become certified
- Outreach and relationship building with community law enforcement groups, civic groups, mental health providers, treatment providers, schools, churches, hospitals, senior centers and government entities to conduct educational groups and raise awareness of the program
- Coordinate a network for patients, caregivers, physicians and other industry persons to collaborate efforts and maintain a streamline of up to date educational information, determine where the needs are for the patient and the doctors to enhance the success of the program and to provide information on local events surrounding the program and patient groups
- Lead a team that inspires patient confidence and creates patient loyalty
- Develop knowledge of various strains and their effect on debilitating medical conditions, and ensure staff is trained on the same.
- Identify market gaps and develop guidance for caregivers on direction to make changes so patients achieve best quality of life
- Coordinate panel events in communities including doctors, patients and parent advocates for the medical marijuana program
- Create a standardized program where Outreach Coordinators become liaisons within the communities to not only educate but also to enhance the community through sponsorship of events, memberships and building relationships in the community
- Accountable for monthly goal for patient sign ups
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of sales, marketing and/or outreach experience
- People management skills and experience are required
- Bachelors or Associates degree
- Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational, and personal sales skills
- Project management skills a plus
- Direct teaching, training, product education and /or product marketing experience is required
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and product related information in a professional and consultative manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Compassionate and strong work ethic
- Exceptional patient service skills; experience in health care related field a plus
- Ability to deal with problems and resolve in a professional manner

Role overview

FM & CO Manager Responsibilities:
- Understand 1906's mission, vision, team structure, and goals

Position Description :
The Outreach and Education manager will report directly to the Director of Physician and Network Engagement. In this entrepreneurial role, the NJ Outreach and Education Manager will be responsible for executing the Community and Physician Outreach Strategy in NJ and leading the launch of TerrAscend NJ’s medical marijuana business and brands (Apothecarium, Ilera Healthcare, Kind Tree) into physician and patient communities throughout the state of NJ. Mainly tasked with being our lead educator and relationship builder in NJ, this role will also be instrumental in gathering feedback and intelligence from the market, shaping how we talk about our products, and helping develop the educational experiences and materials that will be utilized in New Jersey Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Implement overall Outreach strategy in NJ to build and establish physician and community partnerships.
Facilitate relationships with all NJ cannabis stakeholders including patient and community groups, as well as physician and other healthcare targets via direct communication and education, to generate new referrals or our dispensary and product lines.
Work with team to develop, implement, and manage a variety of outreach tactics including but not limited to face to face visits, email blasts, social media campaigns, targeted social media groups, outreach and education events, and physician newsletter.
Develops and maintains database of physicians and community contacts in CRM ?
Track and report all key performance indicators on a weekly and monthly basis.
Availability to work some nights and/or weekends

Qualification and Education Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of sales, marketing and/or outreach experience, preferably with physicians and/or in health care provider setting. Pharmaceutical or Medical Sales Experience is a plus!
Able to work independently and be self-motivated, as well as solid judgement to know when to coordinate with team members on marketing, regulatory, finance, or other matters.
Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational, and personal sales skills
D irect teaching, training, product education and /or product marketing experience is required.
- Demonstrated ability to impact the physician space by utilizing a mix of in-person educational visits and workshops.
- Ability to create and deliver impactful educational presentations on a variety of topics, and to a variety of audiences related to medical cannabis.
- Ability to become a subject-matter expert, think on one’s feet, and show grace under pressure.
- Ability to travel throughout NJ

The Outreach Manager will be responsible for raising the awareness of Leafwell within the cannabis industry and local communities, driving traffic to the website, and conducting outreach and messaging to the community.
Responsibilities:
- Developing marketing and local outreach strategy in efforts to build and establish partnerships.
- Assisting in virtual/online event planning and execution for Leafwell and Stakeholders/partners
- Follow up with all phone inquiries for patients and caregivers
- Generate weekly reports of all new patients and stakeholders
- Bi-Weekly patient/partner emails identifying upcoming news/events
- Conduct searches and find marketing and advertising opportunities
- Set up community presentations at local businesses to introduce Leafwell (*Post Pandemic)
- Attend external outreach, networking, and wellness/public health events (*Post Pandemic)
- Determine Leafwell’s audience/Target Demographic for respective market
- Staying current with medical cannabis news and research
- Builds collaborative efforts with Leafwell staff, industry leaders, influencers, and state/county health departments that align with Leafwell’s goals and intentions.
- Ensures outreach efforts complies with all relevant state and federal laws
- Identifies supply requirements, including personnel, budget, amenities, equipment, and supplies necessary to accomplish the Task
- Search social media platforms for social marketing opportunities and communication campaigns
- Actively reviews forums, discussion boards and local groups/organization feeds the community to identify the current problems within the local community and report findings of how best to collectively mediate issues and concerns.

Role Overview
Herbology is looking for a Community Marketing and Outreach Manager who can become an integral part of our organization and grow with our company. The ideal candidate is proactive, innovative, passionate and solution driven.
This role will work to raise awareness of our Herbology dispensaries within the community - elevating field marketing as a strategic lever to promote dispensary brand awareness, drive traffic to our dispensaries, maintain open communication with patients and the community and provide outreach and education regarding the Michigan medical cannabis program.
Note: This position will begin on a six month contract with the option to extend and/or hire at the hiring managers' discretion.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop a marketing strategy for your target area
- Identify & activate hyper-relevant on/off premise events, partnerships & sponsorships to strengthen connectivity to patients, local commerce and the community.
- Identify and execute marketing and advertising opportunities (where allowed)
- Establish dispensary as center of informative excellence by delivering educational and industry-forward presentations, consultations and workshops.
- Build and maintain an influential network of physicians and medical partners through ongoing outreach activity.
- Host patient sign up events in the dispensary and throughout the community
- Create a personalized experience for all patients and caregivers
- Assist with social media presence and other task related to digital media
- Attend external outreach, networking, and vendor fair events
- Stay current with inventory and cannabis knowledge
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in marketing and outreach.
- Prior experience working within the medical cannabis industry a plus
- Prior experience working with medical patients desired
- Familiarity with Medical Cannabis Program rules and regulations, specifically in relation to marketing, advertising, and patient card application process
- Ability to acquire a dispensary badge which includes passing required background check free of felonies
- Proven organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the dispensary communication plan with all constituents. This position must understand all rules and regulations set out by the Missouri DHSS and abide by all advertising and promotion restrictions. This position reports to the Manager of the dispensary.
Expectations:
- Collaborate with dispensary team to create effective content and educational materials
- Create high-quality content including blogs, web page content, etc
- Write and edit email marketing campaigns in collaboration with marketing team
- Produce content for weekly social channels

Qualifications:
