Job Summary
The Assistant Cultivation Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the cultivation facility in accordance with standards set by the state and Infinity Wellness The Assistant Cultivation Manager provides support for all cultivation agents, including schedules, training, policy and procedure updates, Responsible for the documentation, ordering, and receiving of all inventory and products through METRC, arranging deliveries, maintaining facility compliance, and cleanliness in accordance with state regulations and standards set by Infinity Wellness . Farmacy SB is seeking an experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our Santa Barbara team.
As Operations Manager, you will serve as a business partner to the Store, the Field and Corporate offices. Your customers include all Store Employees, Corporate Business Partners and Store Customers. You will focus on compliance regulation, technology launches, policy and procedures and operational administrative duties, to drive high performance.
In adherence to all compliance regulations governing the purchasing and selling of Cannabis and Non- Cannabis product, you will partner with the General Manager and Inventory Manager in each location to oversee all facets of policy and procedures and operational administrative duties.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales & Profitability
- Support execution of designated in-store promotions and GWPs to support growth of business and Customer engagement.
- Ensures expense controls within the Store are met with various initiatives and strategies.
- Assist the General Manager and Store by providing various reports in all budget and expense related items to positively impact business decisions resulting in improved sales and profitability.
- Support and communicate utilization of a centralized calendar of designated brand demos, trainings, and in-store events with team to present a cohesive monthly and quarterly calendar.
Operations
- Support and lead the team to perform all Store level operational procedures accurately and in a timely fashion, in accordance with all company policies and procedures.
- Partner with the General Manager to drive the Store’s profitability and guide team members to use company reports to react to trends and drive business.
- Assist store goals of protecting our assets by training in Loss Prevention awareness and overseeing adherence to Loss Prevention practices when in Store.
- Drive collection of Store payroll information weekly and propose all changes to the General Manager.
- Responsible for conducting Store Audits on a regular basis and provide team with constructive feedback and obtainable goals.
- Responsible for consistently evaluating current operations management processes to ensure they are streamlined and efficient. Communicate feedback directly to the General Manager.
- Assist in leading the team in shipping and receiving process and complete shipment turnaround process.
- Responsible for ensuring all operational tasks are completed and that all backstock areas are clean and organised.
- Ensure compliance with all BCC, State and City regulations.
- Ensure compliance with Company emergency and safety procedures to protect Employees and Customers from accidents and incidents.
Leadership & Communication
- Support, contribute and participate in Market calls and Market meetings.
- Lead with effective and positive communications skills in both written and verbal form. Communicates Store and company information/directives to the Store Team.
- Partner with General Manager, Category Purchasing Manager, and Inventory Manager by supporting the communication of designated category promos and events to Store team to align with global and store strategies.

People Development
- Assume the role of a mentor in-store with regards to talent development and Employee mentorship.

- Strategically recruit, train, and develop a productive Store team and provide the Market with strong candidates to support bench strength for all our retail locations.
- Partner with the General Manager to determine staffing requirements to support forecasted sales and payroll budget, share pertinent information with the store team and peer group when needed.
- Develop Leadership team to ensure successful planning to positively impact business, ensure bench strength and succession planning.
- Partner with the General Manager to lead, develop and facilitate communication of staff education materials on all current and future product.
Managing the Environment
- Leads the Store team to maximize sales through analytical and creative management of merchandise from receipt to sale.
- Partner with the General manager to coach the Store Team to take initiative as leaders to oversee all levels of Customer service by setting daily goals and expectation to create a positive Store environment.

- Support the team by contributing to the maintenance of all product stock areas.
Delivery
- Partner with General Manager to understand and support the retail delivery business in accordance with sales and profitability goals.
- Collaborate with delivery and store leadership to enhance delivery systems and processes.
- Ensure a neat, clean, and organized Store environment and stock area.
- Exhibit a familiarity with current delivery product and trend awareness.

Summary

Responsibilities:
- Manages the entire production process and facility

- Oversees the maintenance and custodial personnel to ensure they are upholding the highest levels of cleanliness and sterilization of the grow rooms, processing and/or manufacturing area(s), warehouse, common areas, facility, and grounds.
- Oversees the laundry personnel to ensure they are upholding the highest levels of garment cleaning and sanitation practices.
- Oversees the maintenance of the departments, premises, and equipment.
- Oversees the security of the facility and information systems.
- In conjunction with QA&CM, develops procedures for inventory management, including electronic tracking and the allocation of physical space, shelves, and containers within the premises including inventory protocols in compliance with MRA and GMP requirements.
- Ensures that appropriate validations are done.
- Ensures that in-process and post-process quality assurance testing is done and conducts visual inspections (in conjunction with the QA&CM) to ensure the product meets or exceeds set quality standards.
- In conjunction with the QA&CM, approves and monitors contract manufacturers.
- In conjunction with the QA&CM, designates and monitors storage conditions for materials and products.
Continuous Improvement
- Implements, maintains and enforces GACP-GMP & GMP SOPs and prepares the facility for GACP-GMP and GMP certification.
- Captures innovations and new knowledge and shares them across the network of facilities.

- Owns standardization and leads disciplined process for identifying, testing, and verifying improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

About the Position
GW is seeking an experienced Production Manager to ensure adequate inventory levels for production through overseeing production of cannabis finished goods across three shifts and positions. The Production Manager will create and ensure follow through on production schedules for a variety of SKUs. They will create and keep up to date best practice Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that ensure consistency and regulatory compliance. This individual should have excellent organizational and communication skills and should have experience in a highly regulated production environment.
The Production Manager oversees the department across multiple shifts and reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning of production and packaging schedules based on demand

The focus of this role is to provide support to all retail managers and staff while ensuring that all retail operations are performing to company standards. This role will also focus on preparing retail stores for DOH on inspection.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Oversee and perform all functions associated with management and oversight of all retail stores operating under your territory
- Ensure that all stores are operating above company standards.
- Assist in creating strategies for increasing sales
- Capturing data in territory demographics to analyze revenue and Profit vs. Loss numbers.
- Train all managers to ensure that all Standard Operations Procedures are met, in store operations are running as efficient and consistent as possible and all paperwork is filed appropriately.
- Ensure that management staff has the proper knowledge to conduct all delegated tasks and responsibilities
- Ensure management staff is aware of all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain an open line of communication for all team members and communicate all initiatives to the Director of Dispensary Operations
- Manage and supervise the activities of dispensary staff and make recommendations or decisions regarding hiring, discipline, termination, or advancement of employees.
- Ensure that all Procedures are updated in store to provide the best practice for staff and patients
- Ensure staff is HIPAA compliant.
- Ensure all user credentials and training materials are provided to your staff.
- Ensure Key performance Indicators are captured
- Manage daily financial reporting requirements and oversee all cash handling procedures.
- Monitor dispensary staff, maintenance, in store layout and complaints in each location.
- Communicate any patient incidents or high risk complaints to the Operations Director or compliance team.
- Oversee patient education and counseling programs. Review and continuously revise information disseminated by the dispensary regarding debilitating conditions, their association with medical cannabis products, side effects, etc.
- Assist in implementation of the strategic plan to guide the dispensary’s operation and expansion with the direction of the Dispensary Operations Director
- Assist in DOH inspections
- Assist in initial in-store build outs, construction and preparation for inspections
- Maintain awareness of both external and internal competitive landscape, opportunities for improvement, and industry development.
- Assist in ensuring the dispensary’s compliance with all relevant statutes, regulations, and directives in all respects, as well as best practices.
- Strive for patient satisfaction in all respects and ensure a patient-friendly environment at the dispensary.
- Assist the Director of Dispensary Operations in social retail events, training materials, marketing collateral and other objectives that will expand growth
- Display appreciation to all team members within your territory
- Review weekly inventory counts
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent Oral and written communication skills
- Above Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office and Power point
- Clinical or Research experience preferred
- 5 years or more of Retail/Customer Service experience required
- 5 years or more of Management experienced required
- 3 Years or more of Operational/ Logistical Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Must be 21 Years of Age
