Job Summary
The Office of Medical Cannabis (OMC) is seeking a Patient Registry Coordinator to organize and execute the administrative activities of the patient registry, and provide day to day operational support to the registry and program participants. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure medical cannabis products and entered correctly and manufacturer employees are given proper access to the registry.
- Manage regression testing for new information technology releases for the medical cannabis Patient Registry; conduct thorough testing and identify, document and report technical release issues to MN.IT staff.
- Interpret and apply Minnesota Rules governing medical cannabis to administer the Patient Registry program so that patients, health care practitioners (HCP), parents/legal guardians/spouses (PLG/S), and caregivers (CG) receive information and guidance to assist them in the Registry process.
- Serve as a lead worker to call center staff; develop training materials, provide ongoing training, respond to inquiries, and perform high level registry functions upon request.
- Maintain registry and call center data for internal and external weekly reporting, as well as preparing certain data for presentation in response to request from media, legislature, and the general public.
This is a telework position that may require in-person meetings in the downtown St. Paul location.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

About the Role
The Social Media Coordinator loves to collaborate, is a detail-oriented self-starter, and proactive problem-solver who feels at home in a high-energy environment. The Social Media Coordinator is hungry to grow and learn from a team of marketing professionals and has a keen eye for the ever-changing social media landscape.
Role Summary
The Social Media Coordinator is an entry-level professional, responsible for collecting, organizing, editing, and posting social media with particular focus on Instagram and TikTok. This role requires frequent travel within the Phoenix-Metro area with opportunity to connect with and establish contacts across the industry. This role is best-suited to an individual who is curious about the cannabis industry and who is excited to work on the social media pages for our brands.
Primary Responsibilities
· Ability to capture video and photos at events, in-store, and with our brand ambassadors then turn this into memorable content
· Ability to capture video and photos at independent outings, usually gatherings of people, happy hours, conventions, festivals, and other cannabis events
· Maintain a reasonably flexible schedule to attend events around the Valley, day and night, and occasional weekends.
· Plan, write, edit, schedule, and publish content that engages the audience, encourages them to act, and foster a sense of community
· Provide quality, A-grade material with extraordinary attention to detail
· Proven ability to multitask and switch between projects all while staying organized
· Demonstrate your passion for social media by staying up to date with recent trends or changes in the landscape
· Tell our story through social media, engage visitors, and popularize all company brands
· Communicate with the team, addressing any changes to scope, budget, or deadline
· Ensure projects are completed to specifications by asking any questions ahead of deadlines
· Have a backup plan – shows, venues, concerts are frequently rescheduled, but content is still needed

Preferred Experience
· Two years of experience as a Social Media Coordinator or another role responsible for managing social media content on a daily basis
· Prior experience in the medical marijuana industry is preferred but not required
· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
· Proven track record of developing a social media strategy for a company or brand, building new branding opportunities, and meeting deadlines
· Experience working on the following platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Snapchat
· Comfortable using Sprout Social, Later, Hootsuite or other social media publishing and monitoring applications
· Demonstrated knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications and/or Canva

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop collateral material, including brochures, flyers, business cards, for the company’s suite of brands.
- Design and develop e-mail blasts and newsletters to be distributed to Botanist dispensary patients.

Content Creator & Social Media Coordinator
Primary Responsibilities:
Working closely with the marketing team, you will be creating photographic and graphic content for a few brands within our organization. This person should be highly organized and able to think at a strategizing level to grow two brands in all areas of social media.
You should have professional experience creating a variety of content including but not limited to photography, graphic design, videography, ad design, short-format video ads (looping videos, stop motion graphics, gifs).
Your main focus will be overseeing and running 2 EXCEPTIONALLY FUN brand's social media pages (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook), as well as running campaigns on those platforms. You should have experience working with influencers, and you should be on top of the latest and greatest internet trends. This position requires being well versed in the world of cannabis and CBD, and you should have an eye for brand marketing, and design. Amongst taking responsibility for our social media, you will also be creating content for a variety of brands under our umbrella, which will include taking product shots and assisting in the creation of sales and marketing materials.
- Ensure brand consistency and brand voice in digital marketing and social media
- You will be on top of responding to all direct messages and inquiries on all platforms and making sure the correct departments receive the inquiries
- You will work very closely with marketing and sales to align social media with all other company calendars (eCommerce product launches, various sales events, and expos, etc.)
- This position will require some travel with the sales teams to various expos and events to capture moments and stay on top of new trends.
Qualifications:
- Photography & videography experience
- Graphic design & content creation experience
- Studio photography experience, directing lighting and creating images
- Portfolio or examples must reflect proficiency in product imagery shooting and editing
- A demonstrated skillset in Adobe design and editing software
- Deep understanding of social content trends and platforms
- Excellent communication skills
- Must include link or attachment to design/content portfolio
- Knowledge in paid social media campaigns.
- Must be extremely organized, and able to plan ahead clearly
- Must be tech-savvy, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

- Brainstorm community and influencer extensions for social campaigns; help organize Instagram takeovers to bring in fresh voices to expand reach and engagement
- Participate in daily social trend stand-ups to identify real-time engagement opportunities
- Stay up to date with current trends in social media including emerging channels and new social products
