Job Summary
The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician will ensure that day-to-day operations remain uninterrupted through expert preventative and reactive maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and by maintaining general cleanliness of the GMP manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions
- Administer daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of the facilities manufacturing and safety equipment
- Set up, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment such as automated and semi-automated cannabis and food processing equipment such as trimmers, candy depositors, and packaging machines
- Generate and keep track of maintenance and repair reports
- Keep work area clean and tidy to facilitate Good Manufacturing Practices.

Basic Qualifications
Qualifications include:
- Associates degree or certification in any electro-mechanical practice, or comparable experience
- One year working in a GMP or food manufacturing setting
- Two years general experience with automated systems or production machinery; PLC troubleshooting, programming a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical devices within a reasonable amount of time
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, DMMs, small power tools
- Ability to read and utilize schematics, technical drawings and operations manuals
- Able to respond to urgent facilities requests in a timely manner
- Able to work off-shifts
- Excellent communication and diligent documenting stills
- Being a self-led, problem solver
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Working Environment
This job operates in an industrial GMP manufacturing environment. The working environment may include external exposure to outdoor environmental conditions in order to perform essential job duties. The employee must be able to walk throughout the campus to perform inspections and maintenance. Duties will also include the requirement of kneeling, sitting, crawling and maneuvering around operational equipment when necessary
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee will be required to bend, stoop, crawl, and maneuver around equipment or physical obstacles. The employee will be required to don personal protective equipment, including clean room garments such as scrubs. The employee may be asked to move items such as pumps or motors that may weigh in excess of 50lbs.
