Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates/Bachelors degree highly preferred. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- 1+ years' experience in the cannabis industry
- Retail experience in a leadership capacity preferred
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Able to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations
- Comfortable with high-volume workload and not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves"

Retail Training Manager
This position requires a person who is passionate about learning, teaching, and continuous improvement. The Retail Training Manager will serve as the driver of process, culture, and organizational competency in the Retail space through educational interactions of all types with our employees. Retail training requires a heavy emphasis on sales and customer service skills, sales metrics, POS systems, and cannabis product knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct focus groups and perform needs analyses to determine development needs
- Identify and manage a pool of SMEs for various content contributions
- Collaborate on the creation of training content utilizing multiple formats including PowerPoint, Facilitator and Participant Guides, Video content, Gamification, and other eLearning strategies
- Must be comfortable developing content in a variety of ways with tight timelines in order to meet the demands of the business
- Ability to effectively measure training interventions for business impact and ROI
- Facilitate instructor led training with a dynamic and fun approach to learning for optimal employee engagement

JOB SUMMARY - TRAINING MANAGER
Terrabis is looking for an experienced Training Manager to join our team. You will assist with designing and developing our organizational training strategy, oversee its implementation and assess its outcomes. You will drive suitable training initiatives that exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of our company. We are looking for someone with excellent presentation skills who can communicate and deliver a robust industry-specific learning program, while embracing a continuous learning roadmap.
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Reviews existing training program; suggests enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs the organization, or the industry.
- Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective.
- Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry.
- Identifies problems and opportunities such as operational changes or industry developments that training could improve.
- Conducts or facilitates required and recommended training sessions.
- Partner with key senior leaders to identify skills, standard work and competencies needed to accomplish critical business objectives.
- Lead, drive and execute a classroom and/or virtual learning curriculum through Terrabis University, including technical, soft-skills, advisory, communication and applications training, training on policies and procedures, compliance training, new hire orientation, career pathing, manager effectiveness, leadership development and other key training program needs.
- Develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.
- Build relationships with operational leaders to build rapport, gain insights on current operations, and map improvement opportunities
- Manage and enroll all new hires through the LMS process, ensuring all training has been completed.
- Plans, organizes, facilitates and orders supplies for employee training events.
- Develops and maintains organizational communications to ensure employees have knowledge of training and resources.
- Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
- Manages the LMS, including modifying compliance and new regulations as needed.
- Conducts annual training and development needs assessment.
- Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices.
- Travel to all locations as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
- 10+ years of experience designing and facilitating employee training programs.
- Superior written, verbal communication and facilitation skills.
- A proven track record of training program development and management.
- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives
- Excellent team building, organization, and leadership skills.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.

Position Description
HR Responsibilities and Duties:
o Receiving all deliveries that arrive after standard 9-5 business hours
o Cash handling and payment preparation for purchases coordinated with Purchasing Specialist
o Coordination with Lead Budtenders and Store Manager to address store needs and requests from sales team
o Contribute to creation of training curriculum for all sales floor positions within the retail, regarding such things as:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Laboratory Assistant's tasks include, but are not limited to the following list. You may be asked to perform any or all of these tasks on a given day while maintaining compliance with the New York State Regulations, Etain LLC Standards and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Set up, adjust, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments such as filtration equipment, roto vapor, microscopes, hydrometer, centrifuge, agitators, viscometer, chemical balance scales, autoclave, and other equipment.

- Assist in product filling, bottling, and labeling.

Customer Experience

Duties
Some of the duties you will perform are:
Serve as division lead in the research and development of education strategies that strengthen opportunities to further enhance educational resources for internal employees, stakeholders and other divisions.- Develop, maintain and make recommendations for goals, priorities, and policies in regards to education and training for the division, including establishing procedures and work flows.
- Coach and mentor Training Development Specialists that support the work of the Training Program.
- Lead the training on complex liquor and cannabis laws, rules and policies to Licensing Division employees and other divisions within the agency to increase efficiency and consistency.

- Utilize and analyze highly complex data from multiple data source systems including agency internal systems as well as systems from outside sources (e.g. US census, county and city websites, etc.) to inform decisions, reports, and recommendations.
- Prepare written proposals and presentations utilizing highly complex data on behalf of the Licensing Division Director and Board Member review.
- Create and provide training and presentations on complex subject matter areas related to liquor and cannabis licensing regulations. Audiences include Board meetings, Board Caucuses, educational forums, Enforcement regional meetings, and other agency public hearings.
- Assist the Senior Policy and Education Manager by providing analyzed, complex data and regulations for utilization in developing and implementing new policies as a result of legislative/rule changes.

The Manager, Training & Development is a leader of our Retail Operations group and will create and deliver strategic, in-person and remote, learning solutions that align to operational changes and business priorities specifically supporting our growing and evolving national retail footprint (Rise, Essence, Fiorello Pharmaceuticals, Bluepoint, etc.). You will utilize learning technologies and tolls that will give our Retail team access to the learning, knowledge and the know-how to perform and adapt in their roles not only to develop their careers but to maximize performance and prioritize compliance.

Responsibilities
Content Development & Business Assessment
Conduct training needs analysis and partnering with business stakeholders to develop and deliver solutions to address gaps
Identify and recommend training and development opportunities for employees in achieving enhanced performance and/or career development
Create, implement, and iterate on engaging and scalable learning plans and calendar for employees
Program Manage; can vision, strategize and execute a full-to-end learning development program
Work proactively with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand needs and goals and to develop content for training programs
Facilitation
Lead and deliver courses aligning with operational initiatives
Manage day-to-day administration and logistics of running training programs including communication with attendees, coordinating classroom (whether physical or virtual) and track employee training completion
Utilize varying mediums, learning materials, and lesson plans to engage different learning styles for content varying from sales and service training to compliance training
Ensure all training resources are up to date and relevant
LMS Administration
Develop a technology-enabled strategy maximizing our current LMS platform
Promote and ensure a consistent look and feel for all sites in the LMS (including adhering to brand standards)
Train admins and employees on essential functions of course uploading or creation
Maintain a well-thought out taxonomy (and overall organization) to make our LMS a highly-curated experience; includes setting it up in a way to produce best-in-class reports
Act as the point person for support and routing troubleshooting activities
Assist in the development and execution of communication plans related to the implementation of new systems, enhancements, and/or process changes
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
8+ years building the framework and infrastructure for a training, learning, or education program with proficiency in course design and delivery and hands-on business experience; combination of large and high-growth organizations, preferred
Experience with SharePoint, Learning Management Systems, required
Strong business insight to prioritize learning solutions that address current and anticipated organizational and operational business changes
Strong project management and prioritization capabilities; can set deadlines and deliver through a well-thought out and strategic plan
Proven ability to work with, influence, coach, and facilitate at all levels and collaborates, build consensus to drive change
Ability to be execute against changing priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision; enjoys change and adapts constructively

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Work with Operations and Compliance leaders to understand the standard operating procedures, policies and work instructions followed by our Retail, Distribution, Cultivation and Manufacturing employees.

- Share your best practices with other Training Managers across the company so we can all help each other get better.
- Review and reevaluate existing training programs for ongoing relevance and continuous improvement opportunities.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU'LL BRING

Role Responsibilities:

Nirvana Center Dispensaries operates 5 licensed MMJ dispensaries in the state of Arizona and has expanded into Michigan and Maryland. NCD is a high-growth company known for diversity, industry-leading service, competitive pricing, and community outreach/involvement. We are currently looking for additions to our management team in the valley of Phoenix, AZ. Once the 90-day training and probationary period are completed, the manager in training will be placed in either a Supervisor, Assistant Manager or General Manager role, depending on experience.
The General Manager will ensure that the dispensary operations are in compliance with the AZDHS AMMA and internally approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). The Dispensary Manager collaborates with the Regional Dispensary Manager and leadership team to develop, document and implement practices, policies, and strategies that support a performance and results-driven culture. The Dispensary Manager is an exempt level position and reports to the Regional Manager and Senior Operations Manager.
Summary of Duties:
- Direction and oversight of all dispensary operations
- Lead day-to-day operations, analyze for efficiency.
- Work with and direct Inventory Manager to ensure proper control
- Implement policies and procedures laid out by Nirvana Center Dispensaries
- HR Responsibilities such as scheduling, time management, and employee development through coaching, reviews, etc. Performance management, goal-setting.
- Full P&L responsibility for location, ensuring maximum profitability and sales growth
- Lead weekly Manager Meetings with Assistant Managers and Supervisors
- Lead bi-weekly Employee Meetings with all staff
- Ensure that patients experience excellent care while in our facility
Key Responsibilities
Compliance
- Practice policies and procedures related to the protection of personal and sensitive data must be adhered to at all times and only divulged to authorized persons.
- Knowledge of Arizona state regulations for Medical Marijuana Marijuana.
- Responsible for ensuring all employees state dispensary agent card applications are sent to the Compliance Manager for renewal every 2 years.
- Responsible for leading and complying with planned and unplanned monthly inspections by Compliance Manager, and by the state annually.
- Ensuring reportable events are communicated to the Compliance Manager, and if applicable, Inventory Control Specialists.
- Ensuring compliance with State and Federal Labor and payroll regulations.
Inventory Oversight
- Understands costs per unit, and setting price points for cannabis products.
- Ensure proper management of deli flower and prepackaged inventory
- Ensure weekly and monthly audits are being completed. Work with the Inventory Manager and Inventory Control Specialist in reviewing findings.

The Dispensary Manager ensures that the dispensary department operations are in compliance with the DOH and internally approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains highest level of presentation, customer service, and compassion to all patients

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in business, management, or related areas

Physical Requirement:
