Summary:
Develop and lead multiple cross-functional projects by anticipating and understanding current process and gaps; utilizing multiple methodologies to leverage data in order to inform business decisions and ensuring data accuracy and credibility. Manage daily, weekly and monthly ad-hoc projects as well as larger, multifaceted projects requiring coordination, data gathering, analysis and reporting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide input and suggestions for product packaging
- Manage current and forecasted projects by developing, prioritizing, and coordinating project work plans
- Forecast and manage internal projects; monitor project milestones, expenditures, and costs against project schedules and budgets; track projects and communicate status to key stakeholders; oversee the management project documentation; and act as primary contract for project requests.
- Drive informed decision making for projects by collaborating cross-functionally to identify goals, success criteria, assumptions, risks, and known issues with the project or program.
- Develop communication plan frameworks; overseeing the creation of communication plans; educate sponsors, stakeholders, and executive leadership on project requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external contacts to initiate and drive process improvement activities.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or related area required
- At least 2 years of experience of experience in project management, business or operations required
- 1-2 years’ experience leading project teams required
- Data analysis experience defining and reporting on performance metrics and process improvement required.

Manager Analytics, Product
Overview:
As a Manager on the Analytics team you will play a key role within the organization by using a data-driven approach to make strategic recommendations and drive understanding of our fast-growing business. You will be a key member of the team that Product looks to for insights and strategic direction on how users interact across the Weedmaps ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for directly managing and overseeing a team of analysts who are tasked with deeply understanding users interactions with Weedmaps, implementing event tagging, and making product recommendations based on data-driven insights.
You are a self-starter, independent thinker, deeply analytical and detailed-oriented, and capable of working in a structured manner to thrive in ambiguity. You have a tendency to roll up your sleeves, slice and dice massive sets of information, and build solutions to problems that have not been taken on yet. Understanding how to improve user experience through data is second nature to you. You have a history of demonstrated success in developing and managing a team along with people- coaching and mentoring.
The impact you'll make:
- Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers, incorporate qualitative insights, and understand how our customers interact with our core products.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities
- Inform, influence, support, and execute our product recommendations.
- Directly manage, oversee, grow, and develop a team of highly skilled product analysts.
- Analyze user flows and funnels and make recommendations to improve user conversion rates
- Develop and execute event tagging and analytics strategy for new product releases, including A/B testing.
- Build/maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor the performance of our products and understand the customer experience.
What you've accomplished:
- 5+ years experience analyzing data and driving actionable results
- 2+ years experience directly managing team members
- Ability to drive projects and initiatives with minimal guidance
- Strong ability to communicate results and create buy in from members across the organization
- Fluent in SQL or any other database querying language
- Analytical thinker and structured problem solver
- Strong background researching and manipulating complex and large data sets
- Prior startup or tech world experience
- BA/BS degree or equivalent with specialization in marketing, finance, business, MIS, or a related field of study
