Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Key Account Manager will perform the following responsibilities:
- Develop and sustain relationships with our key partners that bring in the most income for the company. These include dispensaries, nonprofits, and other cannabis focused organizations and brands.
- Meet with partners regularly, both virtually and in-person, ensuring that Leafwell and our partnership remains top of mind.
- Address and resolve key partners’ complaints and issues.
- Ensure that partners have everything they need for the partnership to be as successful as possible and that there are not any opportunities left on the table.
- Communicate and collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to ensure that partners’ needs are met.
- Manage partner marketing campaigns and activations from start to finish - developing the details according to what the partner is looking for and working alongside the Project Manager, Partnership Coordinator, and other members of the marketing team to see it to completion.
- Come up with creative solutions of how we can maximize our partnerships.
- Report on account progress, goals, and forecasts for stakeholders.
- Negotiate agreements with partners and meet established deadlines for determined projects.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4 years experience in an account management or partnerships role
- Cannabis knowledge and industry experience
- CRM experience, Hubspot experience a plus

As a Key Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for establishing establishing new business by being in direct contact with growers and their partners and building and maintaining a network of complementary partners. The geographical scope of this role is either the Eastern or Midwest US territory Customer segments are controlled growing environment food crops, high wire vegetables, floriculture, vertical farms, cannabis, young plants, tissue culture, research institutes and universities.

What you’ll do …
- The Key Account Manager is the face to the customer and coordinates all activities needed to advance sales opportunities to successful completion. You will be a strong customer advocate by understanding customer needs and creating customer demand by pro-actively developing solutions with the appropriate products and services. You will own the client relationship.
- Have in-depth knowledge of all aspects of horticulture production, in a climate-controlled growing environment. This allows you to technically connect the aspects of growing with the benefits that our technology provides to the betterment of the end-user grower.
- Be responsible for achieving sales targets in your territory/segment while working closely with product management, supply chain and local MarCom for the designated region.
- Build up a network of horticulture decision makers, influencers and partners leading to a healthy opportunity pipeline. You will be Responsible for account planning (forecasting and order-portfolio) and keeping the account profile up to date.
- Work in close collaboration with the plant specialists and project application engineers within the North American Team.
- Be responsible for facilitating co-creation with growers, by initiating field tests and commercial follow up for implementation of the results. Thus, you develop the new category of tailored growth light solutions enabled by LED technology. Participate in and lead regular status and strategy meetings with customers' senior management to understand and meet their needs. Provide market intelligence by monitoring customer and competitor activity and industry trends.
What you’ll need ….
- Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant horticultural industry experience in sales/customer relations management, or business development in the controlled growing environment sectors.
- In-depth technical growing knowledge of crops (cannabis, floriculture, high-wire/leafy vegetable) in the climate-controlled growing industry
- High problem-solving ability, and consultative selling experience. Capable to develop complex business cases and manage them to favorable conclusion.
- Experience developing business and executing sales plans with strategies to get, grow, and keep relationships with targeted customers. Strong computer skills and proficiency with spreadsheets, functional databases, CRM, enterprise-wide software applications, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience setting up product trials and working with researchers. Able/willing to travel 50%.

QC Supply is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all account management and product sales for the Horticultural Program, along with developing and executing key account strategies, and beginning and developing customer relationships. Primary duties include increasing sales and profit, developing and implementing a professional account management strategy, building customer loyalty, and effectively communicating sales matter to leadership. This position is also responsible for account and program-specific goals, and growth in horticultural accounts.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drive sales and build solid, lasting relationships with the largest US Horticultural operators, while focusing on sales to Horticultural operators of all sizes nationwide
- Drive top and bottom-line growth in QC Supply's collection of Horticultural products
- Help develop and implement a professional account management strategy
- Develop account and program-specific goals for the QC Supply Horticultural Program using key metric indicators
- Leverage all QC Supply resources and solution-selling to expand sales in existing accounts with substantial room for growth
- Multi-communicational outreach to Horticultural operators through calls, emails, and facility visits
- Continually monitor industry trends and product evolutions to provide customers novel solutions
- Effectively communicate and present sales matters to the leadership team
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelors (BA or BS) in Horticulture, Botany, Biology, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- 3-5+ years of experience in Horticultural Supply Sales, Horticultural Operations, Horticultural Facilities Management, or related experience
- Strong track record of proven success in Horticultural Supply Sales or Operations
- A personal network of fellow Horticultural professionals is an appreciated asset
- A functional understanding of a cultivation facility and the components that run it is deeply valued
- Understanding of cannabis cultivation is a plus
- Sound business acumen, with solid professional selling skills
- Strong communicator, with outstanding "positive" influencing skills
- A successful track record in setting priorities; keen analytics, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to think strategically and execute a complex sales model
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other work-related software

Key Account Sales Manager Responsibilities:
- Generates and develops added-value business with existing clients to meet sales goals.
- Manages consistent growth within distributor client base.

Job Summary*
Kiva Confections will depend on the Key Account Manager (KAM) to provide sales leadership to the San Diego / Orange County / Inland Empire in California. The KAM will lead our key accounts by getting results alongside our local distributors. - Achieve established quarterly sales targets in region by developing customer growth initiatives
- Develop a clear process of being responsible for the business in assigned customers applying information from ERP and Salesforce
- Work closely with Kiva customer partners to implement new and existing business, while driving improvement and establishing positive relationships with customer partners
- Travel to dispensaries to support efforts in establishing relationships with dispensary managers, buyers, inventory managers, and marketing teams
- Provide sales reports to management and customers
- Track lead to sale in CRM tool
- Design and implement quarterly business reviews and annual reviews with account base

The Opportunity
The National Key Account Manager, FDM will be responsible for managing sales and relationships with Food, Mass, and Drug accounts based out of the US. This is an exciting fast-paced sales opportunity for the right self-starter who is able to build customer relationships, sell in a fact-based manner, is data and category driven, and has previous experience with retail chain management including joint business planning, sales management, and merchandise planning. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset and a hunter’s spirit.
Responsibilities
Selling and Influencing
- Manage key Food, Mass and Drug accounts & establish Canopy Growth as a first-choice partner with national customers
- Identify new distribution opportunities and build partnerships that maximize profitable share and volume through distribution, visibility and service
- Execute marketing initiatives and leverage them into consumer loyalty and sales
- Effectively manage all given accounts, ensuring all administration records and information is up to date
- Work with Regional or Territory Sales Managers to effectively lead industry and brand education sessions with national customers and their staff
- Work together with each account to develop programming, planograms and features
- Achieve KPI targets on:
o Volume and Share
o In-store condition
o Distribution
o Product placement
o Price accuracy and communication
o Product quality standards
o Compliance to approved outlet route plans and call frequency requirements
o Representing Canopy in line with brand and merchandising guidelines
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain meaningful and valuable relationships that are favorable in supporting the annual operating plan
- Build and develop relationships with account owners and/or executives at a head office level
- Build appropriate programs, planograms and product features that benefit both Canopy and the account
- Communicate and work cohesively with the Territory Managers on distribution, programs and features
Planning/Self-Management
- Execute Region annual plan and commitments
- Manage own time including building effective weekly/monthly schedules
- Maintain and accurately track annual sales – identify factors that contribute to negative/positive sales variance.
- Maintain and accurately track consumer budgets on time
- Effectively manage a budget to drive volume and share growth within acceptable trade practices, according to brand strategy and merchandising guidelines. Monitor and manage sales expenses within an allotted budget.
- Execute all programs within established guidelines and, scorecard/recap results.
- Collaborate with internal teams and manage cross-functional relationships and responsibilities

Experience
- An insatiable curiosity of what makes customers tick and the ability to turn that curiosity into sales opportunities to drive Canopy Growth’s and our customer’s business

The Jetty Account Manager is responsible for supporting and growing high volume Jetty dispensary partners. Maintaining a solid relationship with buyers, owners and key account personnel while applying an analytical approach to account strategy is the priority. The Opportunity
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing sales and relationships with retail key accounts based out of the US. This is an exciting fast-paced sales opportunity for the right self-starter who is able to build customer relationships, sell in a fact-based manner, is data and category driven, and has previous experience with retail chain management including joint business planning, sales management, and merchandise planning.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Selling and Influencing
- Manage all key accounts in an assigned region and establish Canopy Growth as a first-choice partner with key customers
- Identify new distribution opportunities and build partnerships that maximize profitable share and volume through distribution, visibility and service
- Execute marketing initiatives and leverage them into consumer loyalty and sales
- Effectively manage a given key account list, ensuring all administration records and information is up to date
- Work with Regional or Territory Sales Managers to effectively lead industry and brand education sessions with key customers and their staff
- Work together with each key accounts to develop programming, planograms and features
- Achieve KPI targets on:
- Volume and Share
- In-store condition
- Distribution
- Product placement
- Price accuracy and communication
- Product quality standards
- Compliance to approved outlet route plans and call frequency requirements
- Representing Canopy in line with brand and merchandising guidelines
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain meaningful and valuable relationships that are favorable in supporting the annual operating plan
- Build and develop relationships with key account owners and/or executives at a head office level
- Build appropriate programs, planograms and product features that benefit both Canopy and the key account
- Communicate and work cohesively with the Territory Managers on distribution, programs and features
Planning/Self-Management
- Execute Region annual plan and commitments
- Manage own time including building effective weekly/monthly schedules
- Maintain and accurately track annual sales – identify factors that contribute to negative/positive sales variance.
- Maintain and accurately track consumer budgets on time
- Effectively manage a budget to drive volume and share growth within acceptable trade practices, according to brand strategy and merchandising guidelines. Monitor and manage sales expenses within an allotted budget.
- Execute all programs within established guidelines and, scorecard/recap results.
- Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager in planning sales activities and setting sales goals for assigned Region
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- An insatiable curiosity of what makes customers tick and the ability to turn that curiosity into sales opportunities to drive Canopy Growth’s and our customer’s business
- Proven track record in achieving sales quotas and in-store condition KPI’s targets
- Previous success in building and growing relationships with chain accounts.
- Clean drivers abstract
- A technologically savvy individual who is comfortable working in a data driven environment
- Experience in Beverage Alcohol, FMCPG, or relatable industries an asset
- 5+ years’ experience in Sales, Account Management, Category Management or Trade Marketing
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proven track record of working remotely and independently

About the Role
Under the direction of the Regional Sales Director, the Key Account Manager (KAM) will work to improve the company market position through increased sales and territory growth. This role works very closely with their assigned Sales Support Specialist, the Marketing, Operations and Logistics teams in identifying attractive new opportunities, increasing product penetration, and forecasting product inventory needs. The Key Account Manager will also work with other internal teams and managers to develop and support growth plans and revenue targets.
What you will do (Essential Functions)
- Prospect and establish new accounts
- Grow existing accounts
- Become the territory’s Subject Matter Expert (SME) on compliance requirements imposed by the applicable state agencies
- Sell stock products as well as sell and consult with customers on custom orders
- Survey the industry and target specific accounts by utilizing published regulatory databases, trade journals/magazines, and other media outlets
- Work with assigned Sales Support Specialist to ensure CRM system is updated and orders processed
- Meet and exceed Territory sales quotas
- Travel required
- Build relationships with cannabis growers, processors and dispensaries
- Accomplish other sales functions and assignments as requested

Who you are (Qualifications)
- 3-5 years of progressive sales and/or sales management history
- Exceptional sales “Hunter” skills
- Prior experience in CPG or Cannabis industry preferred

About the Role:
As a Cova Key Account Manager you will oversee a portfolio of multi-location, Corporate and Franchise clients. This role is multi-layered as you will act as a liaison between the client and all internal Cova departments. A core goal is the education of strategic clients about Cova’s solutions which necessitates being a high-level expert on the product. You will be involved in managing the relationship from the time the contract is signed. This role helps oversee the onboarding process to ensure a successful "Go-Live" launch with Cova.
The Key Account Manager is goal driven to achieve client, strategic account team and Cova objectives. You will be support focused with an underlying goal of account growth by exercising both up-sell and cross-selling opportunities. Account Retention is also a key focus by being proactive and in front of any possible account significant account issues. You will work close with the billing, development, support, IT and training teams around any client needs. Certain events will uncover some challenges for the retailer so it is important to use the appropriate channels to implement risk management activities towards a clear path to resolution.
Accountabilities:
- Help our strategic accounts understand their business strategy and realize their goals by leveraging Cova solutions as part of their plans.
- Assist in solving client business problems while supporting our company goals and quota objectives.
- Engage with strategic clients throughout their life cycle: during the launch process and training stages, account maintenance & billing, and expansion.
- Coordination of additional resources on behalf of the account from the Sales, Product, Training and Launch teams as needed to help with the client’s needs.
- Work closely with product and professional services, as well as time in face-to-face client calls.
- Advocate on behalf of your clients to collaborate with the Product team, using regular customer feedback on how to best solve their issues. Ultimately position fixes/solutions into becoming Roadmap items.
- Recognize new revenue opportunities as client business needs evolve and grow.
- Identify any customer referrals, new locations and new business and coordinate with Sales and Launch teams.
- Process contracts and billing information accurately for each client.
- Positive and timely responses of escalated customer issues through Launch, Product, and Support teams.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years account management, prefer software experience
- Demonstrated project management exposure to managing multiple workstreams/accounts/projects
