Flora Farms is the premier cultivator of medical marijuana in Missouri with three dispensary locations. Flora Farms has 120,000 square feet of indoor growing capacity and the latest technology in our Humansville cultivation facility. Our Springfield dispensary has been open since March 2021. JOB SUMMARY
Flora Farms is seeking an Assistant Dispensary Manager for our Springfield Dispensary who will be responsible for assisting the General Manager with all day-to-day operations of the dispensary in accordance with the State, the standards set by the Company and responsible for the overall profitability of the dispensary. The Assistant Manager provides support to the dispensary staff which includes: scheduling, training, providing policy and procedure updates, keeping updated with industry news and product information. The Assistant Manager also assists the General Manager with the ordering and receiving of all inventory and products, providing feedback to the Company, and maintaining agent and facility compliance and cleanliness.
JOB DUTIES
- Responsible for assisting the General Manager with dispensary staff oversight, schedules, inventory and patient/customer relations
- Maintain accurate records of all dispensary activities including daily cash reconciliations, patient/customer records, sales, and returns in accordance with the State and the standards set by Company
- Maintain inventory control system and perform counts of all medical cannabis and medical cannabis products in the facility as directed by Company
- Serves as a resource for dispensary staff concerning products and services, policies and procedures, industry news and changes in regulations

The Mental Health Clinician-Substance Use Specialist is a member of the Counseling Center staff whose primary responsibility is providing substance use education, prevention, assessment, intervention, consultation, counseling, and referral services. The Mental Health Clinician-Substance Use Specialist also provides counseling to University students with psychological or educational concerns.
Description of Primary Duties
1. Facilitates the optimal functioning and well-being of University students by providing individual, couples, and group counseling.
2. Ensures that the concerns of clients are addressed in an appropriate manner through psychological assessment procedures and making referrals when indicated.
3. Promotes responsible care of Counseling Center clients by maintaining documentation of client contacts, consultations, and referrals in accordance with professional guidelines.
4. Ensures that the needs of students are addressed in emergency situations by providing crisis intervention services during office hours and after hours as needed.
5. Provides educational workshops by participating in proactive outreach programming.
6. Obtains additional relevant information and promotes self-understanding with clients by suggesting and interpreting use assessments and psychological and vocational tests.
7. Facilitates an understanding of substance use issues as well as psychological issues and concerns by serving as a consultant for the University and the greater community. 8. Ensures that services are provided in an ethical and responsible manner by providing training and supervision for graduate students, support staff, student workers, and paraprofessionals.
9. Provides clinical supervision for non-credentialed staff who operate under the supervisor’s license.
10. Maintains and enhances the quality and relevance of services provided by the Center through ongoing evaluation of all services.

The Mental Health Clinician-Substance Use Specialist is a member of the Counseling Center staff whose primary responsibility is providing substance use education, prevention, assessment, intervention, consultation, counseling, and referral services. Description of Primary Duties
1. Facilitates the optimal functioning and well-being of University students by providing individual, couples, and group counseling.

8. Ensures that services are provided in an ethical and responsible manner by providing training and supervision for graduate students, support staff, student workers, and paraprofessionals.
9. Provides clinical supervision for non-credentialed staff who operate under the supervisor’s license.
10. Maintains and enhances the quality and relevance of services provided by the Center through ongoing evaluation of all services.
11. Remains knowledgeable about current trends in substance use disorders, counseling, psychotherapy, and student development by participating in professional development through presentations, publications and memberships in professional organizations and obtaining Continuing Education Units (CEUs) as required by the state licensing and regulatory boards.
12. Ensures optimal operations of the Counseling Center by conferring with the Director regarding administrative policies and procedures of the Center and the University.
13. Provides input and remains current on operations of the Counseling Center by attending staff meetings.

8. Ensures that services are provided in an ethical and responsible manner by providing training and supervision for graduate students, support staff, student workers, and paraprofessionals.
9. Provides clinical supervision for non-credentialed staff who operate under the supervisor’s license.
10. Maintains and enhances the quality and relevance of services provided by the Center through ongoing evaluation of all services.
11. Remains knowledgeable about current trends in substance use disorders, counseling, psychotherapy, and student development by participating in professional development through presentations, publications and memberships in professional organizations and obtaining Continuing Education Units (CEUs) as required by the state licensing and regulatory boards.

A Mechanized Trimmer Operator II is responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of a mechanized trimmer used to facilitate the adequate right of way clearance for distribution and/or transmission power lines. In this position, you will be given the opportunity to work alongside peers who are versatile, enthusiastic, and strive to push forward AECI’s mission.
Responsibilities:
- Drives/operates ROW vehicles and equipment as necessary to safely and efficiently complete tasks and projects.
- Performs daily inspection and maintenance of chainsaws and safety equipment; must be able to safely and efficiently operate chainsaws.
- Performs right of way clearing duties, to include the following: bucket work, climbing work, ground clearing, cutting, chipping, piling, burning, and other disposal of brush.
- Safely operates mechanized trimmer to trim trees along right of way. Stop work and notify supervisor in the event of safety hazards.
- Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and keeps documentation of maintenance performed.
- Inspects ROW in front of equipment to flag obstacles (i.e. phone pedestals, guy wire, septic tanks/systems, water and gas lines/meters, etc.)
- Performs traffic control duties around work area as needed.
- Must understand general safety rules and policies and promote good relations with other crew members, patron cooperatives, and the general public.
- The ability to handle stress and work well with others are essential functions of this position.
Minimum Qualifications:
- In pursuant of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act 593, this position is a designated safety-sensitive position according to AECC/AECI standards and processes.
- As a condition of employment, this position requires a post – offer, pre-employment Fitness for Duty Exam
- At least 6 months experience and/or training.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Able to work in outside or inside working environment, wherein there are potentially hazardous working conditions and life-threatening situations exist (fire, chemical, moving mechanical parts, electrical sources, fumes, airborne particles, heights, dangerous people, etc.).

A Mechanized Trimmer Operator II is responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of a mechanized trimmer used to facilitate the adequate right of way clearance for distribution and/or transmission power lines. In this position, you will be given the opportunity to work alongside peers who are versatile, enthusiastic, and strive to push forward AECI’s mission.
Responsibilities:
- Drives/operates ROW vehicles and equipment as necessary to safely and efficiently complete tasks and projects.
- Performs daily inspection and maintenance of chainsaws and safety equipment; must be able to safely and efficiently operate chainsaws.
- Performs right of way clearing duties, to include the following: bucket work, climbing work, ground clearing, cutting, chipping, piling, burning, and other disposal of brush.
- Safely operates mechanized trimmer to trim trees along right of way. Stop work and notify supervisor in the event of safety hazards.
- Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and keeps documentation of maintenance performed.
- Inspects ROW in front of equipment to flag obstacles (i.e. phone pedestals, guy wire, septic tanks/systems, water and gas lines/meters, etc.)
- Performs traffic control duties around work area as needed.
- Must understand general safety rules and policies and promote good relations with other crew members, patron cooperatives, and the general public.
- The ability to handle stress and work well with others are essential functions of this position.
Minimum Qualifications:
- In pursuant of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act 593, this position is a designated safety-sensitive position according to AECC/AECI standards and processes.
- As a condition of employment, this position requires a post – offer, pre-employment Fitness for Duty Exam
- At least 6 months experience and/or training.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Able to work in outside or inside working environment, wherein there are potentially hazardous working conditions and life-threatening situations exist (fire, chemical, moving mechanical parts, electrical sources, fumes, airborne particles, heights, dangerous people, etc.).
- Able to work in extreme heat or cold
- Able to work in extremely loud areas

About the Company
Flora Farms is the premier cultivator of medical marijuana in Missouri with three dispensary locations. Flora Farms has 120,000 square feet of indoor growing capacity and the latest technology in our Humansville cultivation facility. Our Springfield dispensary has been open since March 2021. We are looking for a Full Time Budtender to help represent Flora Farms and serve the patients of the Springfield area.
Job Description
Flora Farms is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Budtender to join our Springfield team. The number one responsibility of a Budtender is to provide a comfortable experience to our patients and assist them in selecting the suitable cannabis products. A Budtender is also responsible for day-to-day operations of the dispensary. These duties can include reception and check-in, cleaning, inventory management, cash handling and anything else as directed by the management team.
Responsibilities
- Greeting and welcoming patients and guests in a timely, professional manner
- Verifying a patient’s identification to ensure they are legally permitted to purchase cannabis
- Advising patients on suitable cannabis products based on their expressed needs
- Educate patients on how to safely use their selected products
- Practices empathy and active listening when working with patients to address their specific needs and wants
- Cultivating and maintaining accurate and current knowledge of medicinal cannabis, terpenes, and common medical uses
- Awareness of industry trends and new products, as well as changing industry regulations
- Maintains a level of intellectual curiosity regarding cannabis and its medicinal benefits
- Processing payments, basic cash handling and POS skills
- Contributing to the overall cleanliness and organization of the dispensary property both interior and exterior
- Working with management to ensure the sales floor is fully stocked
- Help with daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts and audits
- Alerting management to customer complaints as well as operational and loss prevention concerns
- Contribute to the security of the store and ensuring all state guidelines are met
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, team-oriented environment
- Operates with the direct supervision of the Store Manager and Upper Management Team
- Promotes a work environment that is positive, customer-service and solution oriented
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Qualifications
- Must be 21 or older to apply
- Able to pass a Federal and State of Missouri criminal background check including fingerprinting
- Must be able to obtain an Agent ID through the state of Missouri
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
- 1-3 years customer service experience required
- Retail experience preferred
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Knowledge of cannabis products

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB
Responsible for delivering an industry leading customer experience when patients shop with The Farmer’s Wife. They will accomplish this goal by providing a high level of customer service, carefully assessing patients’ needs, recommending products based on their extensive cannabis and product knowledge, and transacting sales in an efficient and compliant manner.
