- Must have familiarity with carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, energy management, fire and life safety, access controls/security systems, and other building maintenance activities
- Design and implement sanitation, safety and maintenance protocols, audits work completion and performs weekly/monthly/quarterly inspections in accordance with federal, state, municipal and company standards.
- Drafts and implements preventative maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment
- Leads Safety Committee to ensure OSHA guidelines along with additional compliance needs are met
- Project manages construction and installation projects
- Ensure layouts are updated for new equipment, relocated equipment, building improvements or changes
- Manage CCTV system and alarm system
- Review and implement opportunities for cost savings
- Responsible for portfolio exterior building maintenance and landscaping
- Prepare annual capital expenditure budgets, follow capex submission/approval process and ensure capex spent per quarter
- Manage tool inventory, tool maintenance, and/or upgrade requirements
- Lead MSDS Review Committee
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity
- Adhere to, promote, and work within the rules, regulations, and guidelines of the RWB Employee Handbook and Code of Conduct
- Conduct business in an ethical manner
- Creates and provides progress reports for leadership team and stakeholders
- Analyzes data and provides recommendations accordingly
- May be required to respond to 24-hour emergency calls to perform or coordinate security, building or equipment repairs during off-duty hours

The Staff Accountant will work closely with the CFO to maintain accurate and timely financial data in compliance with GAAP reporting and with Michigan's Cannabis Regulatory Agency. This role will be responsible for full accounting for several legal entities in a fast paced, ever evolving, and growing business. We are looking for a highly motivated, key contributor to the Accounting/Finance team who can demonstrate knowledge of the accounting cycle, can work independently, can pivot easily, and has the ability to analyze financial situations, put in a framework and find solutions with a systematic approach.
Job Responsibilities
- Post weekly sales transactions for dispensaries and grow facilities.
- Calculate and pay monthly sales, use, and excise tax.
- Record and reconcile daily cash collections.
- Review Accounts Payable and assist with the cash distribution process.
- Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Perform detailed general ledger review for accuracy and to maintain the integrity of the accounting information in Sage/Intacct.
- Post month end closing entries in compliance with GAAP reporting.
- Complete monthly balance sheet review and reconciliations of AP, AR, inventory, fixed assets, notes payable, equity and intercompany accounts.
- Maintain detailed workpapers for each legal entity.
- Assist with the preparation of month end financial statements and variance analysis.
- Conduct ad hoc financial data analysis, special projects, and reporting as needed.
- Assist with annual budget process as well as monthly and quarterly forecasting.
- Contribute to process improvements to develop best practices, find efficiencies, and support better cross team collaboration.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred. In lieu of a degree, relevant experience may suffice.
- 2+ years prior experience in Accounting.
- Must possess strong Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

The Marketing Coordinator supports the Marketing team in the execution of New Standard programs. Job Responsibilities
- Identify and create comprehensive and innovative B2B and B2C strategies that build brand awareness and drives traffic to New Standard Cannabis Shops .
- Collaborate with Retail Operations Teams and Marketing Teams to maximize brand and revenue opportunities.
- Develop and foster relationships with local third-party organizations including but not limited to; THC vendors, therapeutic groups, support groups, non-profits, local businesses, community organizations, and referral sources in coordination with Retail Operations Teams.
- Support retail stores in executing best-in-class experiences including trainings, optimizing vendor pop ups, education sessions, etc.
- Maintain continuous communication with key internal stakeholders for cross-functional alignment.
- Track and analyze key metrics and performance for consumer purchasing-cycle.
- Oversee RFP’s from vendors, evaluate bids, negotiate and execute contracts.
- Map out and manage store marketing event calendars.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience preferred.
- 2+ years of professional experience, cannabis and/or retail CPG experience preferred.
- Experience managing an events team and outside vendors (exhibit houses, contractors, agencies).
- Proven ability to lead and project manage large and simultaneous projects.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple, wide-reaching, and changing priorities.
