Operations Supervisor
OVERVIEW
The Sensi Society, Cannabis Delivery Service, primarily services the Peninsula-Bay Area. We have been part of the cannabis industry for over five years and want to expand our brand and experience. The Operations Supervisor supports the overall management and performance of day-to-day business operations to ensure that it is meeting or exceeding customer service standards, P&L objectives, operating procedures, and all inventory objectives.
You ensure compliance with all regulations governing the purchasing and selling of Cannabis and Non-Cannabis products. You will partner with the store’s General Manager to oversee all facets of policy and procedures and operational administrative duties concerning inventory and compliance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operations:
- Reports directly to the owners
- Exhibit extensive knowledge of logistics, safety protocols, and regulations around Cannabis transportation and delivery.
- Ensure proper use of all processes, and guidelines (operations, HR issues, financial issues, health, and safety) as set by the company or federal, state, or local law
- Ensure proper cash handling and money taken balances with the information given by the POS system daily, and justify and correct any discrepancy by the drivers
- Open & closing key holding responsibilities
- Maintain company standards of cleanliness and organization
- Ensure execution of excellent back-stock organization according to company guidelines
- Monitor all company equipment regularly to ensure safety and operating compliance
- Identify key areas within the market for new business development opportunities
Inventory:
- Own all inventory and compliance tasks within the company in adherence to all METRC and BCC regulations.
- Execution of stock control and filing of stock data to minimize stock losses
- Monitoring of supply levels and respecting order guidelines

The Client Advisory Services Accountant II (aka “Loss Prevention Specialist II”) will provide risk management advisory services to CPA firms that are CAMICO policyholders primarily through the Loss Prevention Hotline, and e-mail. This position will work closely with and provide support to other CAMICO departments including, but not limited to, Marketing/Communications, Claims, and Underwriting. The Loss Prevention Specialist will assist with the development and implementation of Loss Prevention educational programs; identify and develop proactive risk management tools; build and support external resources; and contribute/write articles for CAMICO’s newsletter and other publications. Counseling policyholders in a variety of practice and risk management areas will require the individual to (a) have passed the Uniform Certified Public Accountant Examination and to have practiced in public accounting for a minimum of four (4) years or (b) have practiced in public accounting for six (6) years.
This position has high exposure to CAMICO's policyholders, agents and external resources and some travel is required. Must have the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Share risk management expertise in response to inquiries received from CPA Firms.
- Stay current with national and regional public accounting issues and trends to assist with formulating suitable advice responsive to related risk management implications.
