Seeking a Revenue-Focused Direct to Consumer Accounts Manager based in Canoga Park to execute sales growth for various cannabis brands sold and distributed by SULO DISTRO. We service various Direct to Consumer relationships for cannabis sales in the state of California.
Reports to: Sales Leadership
Position Summary: Responsible for driving New Accounts set up and activated with direct to consumer web providers, and portals. Work with existing accounts through strategic development of trade programs that effectively bring brands to life online. Hands on management of select key accounts that could acutely benefit from additional support in driving consumer awareness and increasing purchasing across the SuLo product portfolio.
Essential Responsibilities (Account Activation and Sell Through):
- Prospect and rate potential C9 license holders for volume of sales potential using the following metrics and any other metrics relevant to the success of selling multiple brands through the specific channel.

- Overall consumer database
- Delivery region coverage
- Permitted Drivers or staff
- Depots
- Delivery logistics
- Develop Virtual education programs that leverage conducting off-site trainings, and product placements - including but not limited to brand launches, product launches, and promotions.
- Support Brand Education and portfolio positioning, including development of ideal menu categories for individual brands
- Own the go-to-market “virtual Launch and consumer awareness
- Ensure Menu Accuracy on all accounts at all times
- Work collaboratively across Marketing and Sales to ensure digital assets are published as needed to the vendor for immediate publication.
- Manage SuLo brand proliferation and sell-through with each web portal provided by D2C vendor.
- Development of menu guidelines and best practices that drive optimal placement/visibility and effectively convey brand to consumer at point of purchase.
- Plan and present reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members and stakeholders
- Work closely with Sales Manager in delivering effective communications with D2C vendors - including but not limited to email newsletters, digital assets, weekly promos, new products, store locators, etc
Essential Responsibilities (Account Management)
- Develop, nurture, and leverage relationships with key influence and decision makers in assigned stores and markets in order to maximize brand presence and rate of sale

- retention rate of assigned accounts
- increased ROS month over month

- Month over Month (existing products) as applicable
- Keep key accounts engaged and hyped on brands across total portfolio
- Communicate Development Budget required by Key Accounts to create custom programming and activations specific to website, and brand pages.
- Regularly evaluate and provide feedback on strategic opportunities for assigned key accounts
- Activity or KPI Expectation:
- 3 days prospecting and database updates
- KPI levels to be reviewed quarterly based on activation levels.
- Upon activation, Conducting Menu maintenance, and inventory reviews weekly or daily as needed.
- 6-10 accounts per week
- Logging all account interactions in the CRM tool.
Distribution Partner Support
- New brand Launch programming
- New Brand Education
- New Product Education
- Performance review of brands
- Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and Distributor Vendors and retail accounts.
- Assist in assessing and reviewing Distributor performance.

Position Overview:
The Wholesale Account Representative (the “Representative”) at Columbia Care will work with the Director, Wholesale to win and manage general accounts. The position is responsible for maintaining partnerships and managing relationships. The Representative will partner closely with local business leaders and focus on sales for our major brands to increase market penetration. The Representative must understand the sales process, have superb interpersonal skills, and develop a thorough knowledge of the cannabis space specific to our markets.
