The Back of House Manager is responsible for managing policy and procedure, inventory, receiving orders, compliance, conducting internal audits within the dispensary, responsible for training and holding team members accountable to complaint and accurate cash processes, maintaining menu integrity, coordinating with HQ partners to resolve variances and technical issues and all other operational objectives of PharmaCann store operations. This position is responsible for ensuring all employees of the dispensary are accountable to these same responsibilities. This position manages the inventory team and at times the check-in (camera) department to improve accuracy, and operational initiatives, ensure safety, security, and all State and local regulatory standards are maintained.
The Back of House Manager is an expert in their field of cash reconciliation, inventory receiving, inventory audits, state tracking systems, FIFO compliance, order fulfillment, regulatory and compliance standards.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute all inventory specific initiatives as outlined on the master calendar.
- Deliver results and strategic direction by ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly through the store team. Work with cross-divisional teams to build consensus on strategic objectives, goals, and operational plans. Perform internal audits designed to evaluate risk and test internal controls, as well as identify opportunities for best
practices and more efficient operational processes. (e.g. safety and security, facilities, cash, technical, inventory, and other areas as assigned.)
- Ensure the store is audit compliant and achieves acceptable scores
- Conduct interviews and store walkthroughs, performing analysis to identify key business risks and controls. Uphold company standards for merchandise presentation and ensure menu availability is current.
- Directly supervise the check-in/camera assigned team to ensure acceptable standards are maintained for the overall safety and upkeep of the dispensary.
- Comply and audit cash procedures as it pertains to preparing deposits and daily cash reconciliation.
- Establish and implement operational policies, standards, and procedures for retail staff.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies and procedures within the retail store.
- Prepare reports of findings and recommendations for management that will identify and monitor business opportunities for improvement.
- Assure that staff within all divisions of responsibility have a thorough understanding of our corporate processes, SOPs, and assist with providing education in areas that need to be addressed.
- Work closely with cross-divisional managers to assign and schedule additional daily audits.
- Work with cross-divisional managers to ensure adequate staffing is scheduled and payroll goals are met. Communicate, work closely, and successfully collaborate with other Managers to achieve the organization's goals. Partner with the PharmaCann Human Resources team in the following HR functions:

This position is responsible for executing initiatives that facilitate the achievement of outreach goals, the increase of new medical patients and driving awareness of our brand and dispensaries in the community. Daily tasks will include canvassing, new patient acquisition and the execution of approved events.

Purpose
The customer experience begins and ends with the budtender. A budtender is responsible for the initial greeting, assessing the needs of the customer and educating/guiding them on the benefits and differences of the products. Budtenders deliver the company’s retail promise to every customer and patient while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service. A successful budtender will be able to elevate company standards, achieve sales goals and meet our customer’s and patent’s expectations.
Essential Duties
Customer and Patient Satisfaction
- Responsible for achieving sales goals by providing best-in-class service that consistently exceeds our customer’s and patent’s expectations.
- Responsible for maintaining the store in a clean, organized, safe manner with special attention paid to merchandising standards.
- Inspire customer and patient confidence and create loyalty to our brand.

Point of Sale System
- Accountable for accurately utilizing the Point of Sale system(s).

Product Knowledge
- Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
- Understanding and relaying information of product equivalencies and responsible use of products.
- Knowing your product and how it relates to customer purchasing limits.
Work Environment
- Maintain a positive attitude that creates a positive work environment.
- Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and the presence of the store is well maintained.

Job Qualifications
Work Experience
- One or more years of work experience in a related industry or work environment preferred.
- Six months to one year of experience in retail required.

Job Description
The Visual Presentation Manager drives the timely execution of high quality visual guidelines, innovative displays, store design elements and product placement for the PharmaCann brand. Adapt presentation needs to customer requirements, product performance, as well as Hospitality and Marketing objectives.
The Visual Presentation Manager is responsible for managing the execution of brand standards, visual merchandising and presentation strategies to positively impact overall business results; this objective is achieved through the collective partnership and alignment with GM and dispensary managers, as well as corporate Product, Digital and Marketing teams.
The Visual Presentation Manager is an expert in their field for specific divisions of responsibilities of the business. This role was designed to develop people into the company’s future General Managers
Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions)
- Lead store team to implement all aspects of Visual Merchandising including day to day merchandising and product launches.
- Oversee the timely execution of brand merchandising guidelines, seasonal guidelines and planograms.
- Partner with Hospitality and PR on press and in-store events.
- Champion expectations and standards as related to all aspects of visual merchandising and brand standards.
- Partner with the PharmaCann Human Resources team in the following HR functions:
- Interview, recruit and hire to fill gaps in open positions in a timely manner based on store performance and volume.
- Train managers and employees in expected operational standards using appropriate tools such as SOP’s, compliance audits, company and state policy and procedures.
- Set up training calendar and ensure associate onboarding and new hire training is complete.
- Ensure continuous training and development with team members through modules and training curriculums that results in consistency across all stores.
- Write and deliver on team members’ performance in partnership with GM to determine succession plans build on members strengths and develop on weaknesses.
- Performance manage and coach team members on poor performance and violation of company and compliance policies in partnership with GM and HRBP.
- Provide leadership, training, guidance and support to team members that fosters continuous learning and improvement in performance of the store.
- Perform as liaison between home office and store teams to ensure PharmaCann brand consistency.
- Support implementation of company initiatives and strategies.
- Partners with GM and other dispensary managers to review critical business reports, analyze business results and apply knowledge/learning linking merchandising and presentation to overall business metrics, sales, profit and ADS.
- Understand merchandise flow standards; backroom organization and how it affects floor set execution, replenishment and recovery and the overall in-store brand experience.
- Provide essential global feedback from the field to influence future directives.
- Support all visual presentation aspects of new store openings.
Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Associate’s Degree as a minimum, Bachelor’s in business or operations management or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in Visual Merchandising.
- 1+ year PharmaCann experience will be considered

ICP MS Application Scientist
This position is responsible for developing turn key applications with emphasis on but not limit to cannabis markets using ICP-MS platform.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Understand customers’ current and future needs and design application development strategy to address those needs.
- Drive execution of turn-key applications development for respective markets.
- Generate standard operating procedures, application notes, posters, and/or peer reviewed publications for developed applications
- Conduct post development support including but not limit to SOP implementation, troubleshooting.
- Act as a subject matter expert and influencer to the R&D organization during implementation and conceptualization of new product.
- Evaluate competitive publications and presentations and come up with a clear strategy to demonstrate PerkinElmer’s competitive edge.
- Demonstrate independent and creative scientific thinking, ability in solving complex problems, and resilience to setbacks and changes.
- Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, identify maintenance needs and ensure equipment is operational.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- PhD or MS with equivalent experience related to the development and validation solutions using ICP-MS
- 3+ years of recent scientific experience in inorganic analysis domain (ICP-MS)

- Ability to troubleshoot and work independently under pressure of deadlines as well as the desire to work in a fast paced, team environment

The Dispensary Inventory Specialist reports to the Co-Manager of Operations at the dispensary and is responsible for all policy and procedure, compliance, receiving orders and all other operational objectives of the business.
